Located near the beach, this three bedroom home is open and comfortable. Woodstoves on each level. master bedroom has a king, two bedrooms downstairs, one with two twins, one with a queen, day bed in rec room, laundry room with washer/dryer. Only a two block walk to the beach. Located right next door to The Courtyard, this home is in the Bayshore neighborhood of Waldport. Dogs are welcome, limit two. Wifi.

This house was perfect for 2 families to enjoy a weekend at the coast. Downstairs area for the kids to play, big kitchen, big dinning table and lot of upstairs windows. A couple blocks down to the beach, and if you get lucky (like we did) you can have a warm day at the beach.

This was the perfect spot for my family. I chose this rental because it was pet friendly, affordable, and close to the beach. It was very clean and there was no evidence of previous canine guests.

Some guests bring some pretty unsettling things into our vacation homes. We assumed it was someone in your party since we found the knife after your departure. We were not accusing you, we just thought it must belong to someone in your group. It's been safely disposed of.

This was our second stay at Kris' Cottage and hopefully not our last. The open layout of the house, makes for a nice family experience. We kept a puzzle going on the dining room table, in between walks on the beach and cooking together. Thanks for opening your home to vacationers and using a great management company.

It was a great holiday rental experience. The only thing that was difficult was the house was a little hard to find. (there wasn't a house number and the directions said turn left when it should have been right)

Master bedroom nice, terrible hard bed. Other rooms were down stairs and freezing, took a while to heat up, and had a moldy smell from the wall heaters..
The queen bed was super uncomfortable, my wife had to sleep on the couch upstairs. So pretty much bad sleep, bad vactation. Good group of people though.

We are so sorry you had a very bad experience and we will forward your comments to the owners. Beds are pretty subjective, however, and the king bed in the upstairs master is relatively new (2-3 years old) and so are the twins in the lower level. We have refunded your cleaning fee and will speak with the cleaner responsible. We really apologize and hope you will return to another home and give us a second try.

Kris's Cottage is a wonderful home to stay in because it easily sleeps and seats 8 It's proximity to the beach is great, as are two full baths and laundry facilities. Also, dogs are allowed. I would definitely stay there again. The only thing I could comment negatively on is that the cedar walls need to be vacuumed of cob webs, especially above the master bed. But I wasn't there to stare at the walls so all is A+ with me.

We are working on thiese issues with the owner. The windows do need replacing and we have repaird the locks on the bathroom doors. It is an older home that does need updates.

Our vacation rental was all we hoped for...a place where we could enjoy our married kids and the grandchildren in a neutral setting. The home was lovely and comfortable for all. Oh, and the warm sunshine almost every day was an added bonus!

We stayed with 2 teenagers and 2 dogs. The place is bigger and nicer than you can tell by the photos. Very pleasantly surprised. You will be only steps from the beach and at a great starting place to explore Oregon. Thank you Kris for letting us stay in your home!

We have stayed Kris 3 times now and other Batshore homes. But this one is the best by far. The kitchen is "really" stocked which some say they are and then you need something. We will probably just rent Kris from now on. Thank you!

My family flew in from across the country (So Cal, Indiana, and Wisconsin) to celebrate an early Christmas. We were thrilled to find the house so warm and cozy! The house is bigger than expected based on the pics from the website, so we all had plenty of space- there weren't even any fights over bathroom access! Truly a Christmas miracle. ;) We will definitely stay at Kris' Cottage again!!!

I am writing this in place of my husband who gets on the computer every so often, while I get on every day. Every Oct. we go to Alsea Bay for a week of crabbing. We always stay in our favorite rental home. We love that home. For a week we take our boat out in the bay and crab. This year we had time to pull the boat and go to the Siletz river for salmon fishing. In the evening we get the crab pot boiling and cook crab, with all the guests setting in lawn chairs visiting while the crab cook. We have the most wonderful crab feeds. In addition, I go for walks on the beach looking for sand dollars, read, and of course shop. This year we shared the most beautiful sunsets with all who were on the coast. Streaks of pink and brilliant gold painted the sky. I watched the sun melt into the ocean. It truely makes one appreciate Gods work. We usually eat one or two dinners at the Salty Dawg which serves some great sea food. A margarita goes well with seafood. Some of our best memories come from these annual trips to Waldport. The week goes way too fast, but we will always look forward to that next trip. God Bless our beautiful Oregon Coast and our U.S.A.

This was the 2nd time we have stayed in Waldport and rented from Bayshore Rentals, very pleased both times. The propertys are kept very clean and are very well stocked with everything you would possibly need. I was very surprised how close Kris's cottage was to beach access. This was a great house for my classmates and I to get away for a weekend. My family has rented several Bayshore properties in the past, and this house had one of the best stocked kitchens I've seen. Our one suggestion would be a different location for the television upstair as you can really only see it from a couple spots on the couch, though the architecture doesn't really lend itself to this. We also had trouble trying to get the VCR to work. We aren't sure all the necessary cables were present, but this might have been our own ignorance. Directions on switching from DVD to VCR would be helpful since there was a pretty good collection of VHS tapes we would have enjoyed watching. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this house to others.

We always stay in Kris's Cottage in Waldport. We are allowed to have the two small dogs which helps us tremendously as this is the town we love to stay for our annual crabbing vacation. Lots of room in this home and it is cozy and inviting. We always come back to her lovely home.

Our family had a great time at Kris' Cottage, our whole trip we kept commenting on what a perfect house it was for our vacation. We stayed at Kris's Cottage early this summer and told the office that the dishwasher soap dispenser did not open during the cycle. It was in the same condition when we returned in August. Since no soap was dispensed, the dishes on the shelves were not entirely clean. On our last day the dishwasher did not work at all. This needs to be taken care of. Two other items: the fan over the stove doesn't work and the hanging lamp (ceramic pots?)in the corner of the living room needs bulbs. Otherwise, this house is great for families and we would rent it again providing the dishwasher is repaired.

The dishwasher is fixed, we apologize for the inconvenience, we had it repaired in June after your first visit, but then something else went wrong and it required more repairs. Fan over the stove has been replaced and the new bulbs are installed in the hanging lamp. Come back!!!

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there. We had all 4 grandkids with us and there was plenty of room for everyone. One night we saw fireworks diaplay from the front deck and the next day we saw a fireworks display from the back deck. thank you so much and would love to come back some time.

We stayed for 2 nights at Kris' cottage. It was a wonderful stay. The house had plenty of room for my husband, our 6 kids, and me. The beach is so close that you can hear the ocean alll of the time. The views were peak-a-boo, but enough to be enticing. We will be back for sure.
