Cozy and cute, two bedroom home in Bayshore, (both bedrooms have queen beds) One and one- half baths (one full bath in hall) and separate 1/2 bath between kitchen and garage. There is also a small, separate bunk bed room off the garage for extra sleeping. Sleeper sofa in living room, limited view with beach access directly across the street. 42 inch flat screen TV in living room with HD and the master bedroom has a large TV, both with DVD players. Wonderful deck off living room. Washer/dryer in garage, full kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher. Gas log fireplace. This house was perfect for us!! Not too big, not too small (except maybe the bunk-bed room was barely big enough for suitcases). There was an issue with ants, not a complete infestation, about a dozen ants every day. I used to live in Walport so I know ants are a problem in early spring, so I didn't freak out. Maybe a lid on the garbage can would help? I would absolutely stay here again!!

Great location, comfy small home, gas fireplace smelled of gas when used, master bedroom tv had no sound on about half of the channels. Excellent stay for the money!

Bayshore rentals offers the best rates on the entire coast. This house is older. It feels a little like a visit to grandmas house. Every time I've stayed here the house has been clean and well stocked. As always the ladies at the front office are friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

The house is located across the street from the beach. We had glimpses of the ocean from the window. There was a nice deck that wrapped around the house and gave shelter from the northern wind.
What I like best was that the kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of pots and pans, dishes, knives, etc. There were plenty of very fluffy towels.
We were just a few blocks from the clubhouse and pool, which we had privileges to use for $5. We opted not to use the pool--might have if there had been a jucuzzi. -

Overall we had a great time. A better discription of the bunkroom is needed. I didn't let my kids use it because you have to access it from the garadge not the house. It would have been nice to know the cost of the swimming pool. Kind of pricey.

We just read the desccription and it says, "separate bunk room off the garage". Yes, you have to walk through the garage or access through the house into the garage to get to the separate bunk room. The pool hours and prices vary summer to summer, we gave you the prices and hours when you checked in with the same piece of paper that had the pool pass.

We loved this little house! the floor plan was comfortable, the appliances are newer and worked well. the walk to the beach is short and walking over that little hill was always exciting! This is one of the most varied (high-low tide) beaches we've ever been to.
We had so much fun and can't wait to get that Christmas bonus so we can rent it for another week next year!!
I will say the two things I don't like about the Moffet house.
1. the shower head needs to be repaired or replaced, it's got a leak in the bottom so it doesn't have good water pressure at all (but it is enough to bathe).
2. there are goatheads...lots of goatheads in the yard (not at the beach)which end up all over the house if you don't leave your shoes on the deck.Response from Bayshore Rentals LLC - 08/12/2012

thanks for the suggestion on the shower head, had not heard that before and we will repair it or replace. Those darn thistle things are in a lot of yards this year, we hope they go away, we really don't know how to get rid of them except for burning.

We really enjoyed our stay in Oregon at the rental house (Moffet). There were a number of good things about the house: it's location to the ocean (across the road, down the path, over the berm – about a 100 yards); beautiful beach, and lots of drift wood for bon fires; 2 washroom, spacious living area (good for the 8 of us) and bed rooms; garage - this allowed us to park the trailer in it for security, and kept the items out of the weather which worked very well for packing/unpacking; working phone - was able to use my calling card for long distance; the phone books also came in very hand; windows worked for fresh are; thermostat and heaters worked; sufficient hot water; kitchen was well stocked for dished/cutlery. Only thing missing was wireless/internet access. If we are able to come again I would definitely consider Bayshore Rentals!
We also appreciated the helpful and friendly staff, and the use of your washrooms on our way out when dropping off the keys (children are funny:)

Stayed 4 days and loved it. Clean, close to the beach, and very comfortable. My only suggestions are a pizza cutter in the drawer and turning the porch light on (a bit difficult to see it at 11 at night for late checkins without it). Other than that it was perfect. I'll definately be coming back again.

What a delightful home! Marvelous location with beach access right there. The kitchen was amazing! Fully stocked with whatever we wanted or needed! Our management company had everything set to go and came instantly for anything we asked. It was marvelous and we would come again!

We felt right at home the minute we walked through the door. Everything was clean and well appointed. Quiet, safe neighborhood with beach access literally across the street. My only complaint was the $5 per person per day fee for pool access (including
the non-swimming observer). We were told we'd have pool access, but not about the fees, until we checked in for our stay. But the pool was very nice and warm, and the club staff friendly. We loved our stay and hope to return someday! -

For the price of this rental it was a spectacular deal!! it was right across the street from the public access way to the beach. Nice large deck and they had chairs in the garage for use. We so loved the big screen tv and there was plenty of room for everyone. they also had a separate room in the garage the had a bunkbed in it, the room was small but it was perfect for sleeping, you are out on the ocean most of the day anyways so the room was perfect. they had plenty of towels and had a washer and dryer in the garage. I was very surprised after 7 other people who showered that i had hot water still. It was perfect for what we needed it for, i wish we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this house to anyone that is going to stay down in Walport.

Property is represented accurately by description and pictures. Good value for the price. A user guide for the LR entertainment components would be helpful. The bunk beds accessed from the garage are in a tiny room but it does have an outside window. Strong smokey smell in the 1/2 bath off the dining room and in the garage. Might have been from two charcoal grills stored in garage.
But a very comfortable feeling home with comfortable queen beds and mirrored closet doors. Cozy living room with gas log fireplace. Well equipped kitchen with newer Whirlpool large appliances. Small south facing deck provided shelter from North winds. Newer Whirlpool W/D in garage. View of ocean is limited to space between ocean front homes across the street. Shoreline is not visible from deck. Beach access path really is just across the street. We enjoyed our short weekend stay and will definitely consider the Moffett home for another stay. We found this house 6 years ago and we have been back every year since and we have always had a great experience. The property mangager has gone the extra mile in helping us in any way that was needed. The updates that the owners have done have added nice touches and made the stay more accomodating for renters. The location to the beach is great and the deck on the south side of the house is protected from the wind and is always warm for relaxing on. Love the RED door and the Window seat.

Nice place to stay, kitchen has everything you need, bathroom shower was not very clean, especially above the tile husband is 6'4 and said it was filthy. Other than that, which can easily be cleaned, we enjoyed our stay. Price was right and we had a relaxing time.

As always, the Moffett house was immaculate! We loved being able to sit on the deck that wraps around to the south side of the house. It was extremely windy when we were there, but we were well protected from the wind and were able to enjoy the sun! Short walk, easy access to the beach. Only wish we could have brought our dog.

We will be coming back to this beach house for years to come. We have decided it will become a family tradition. There was plenty of room for our Family of six. I enjoyed falling to sleep to the sound of the ocean, the great kitchen (fully stocked with everything that we needed, besides food), plenty of beds, and plenty of towels. Thank you for making our family vacation a memorable one!
