    Additional Location Information

    Sugarbush Ski Resort
The condo is located on the south side of the Sugarbush resort. There is a free shuttle that stops at the corner of Upper Summit Road and Summit Road only steps from the condo and takes you directly to the mountain.

A little about the mountain, the south side is larger, has more lifts and better amenities.
The south side also offers access to the CastleRock lift and terrain. Castlerock is some of the steepest terrain in the east. The trails are heavily moguled and usually thinly covered. The Castlerock terrain does not have snowmaking or grooming so the experience is very similar to Mad River Glen. CastleRock is for expert skiers only, as the sign on the lift reminds you, “there is no easy way down”.

The north side of the resort can be accessed via a shuttle transfer at the base of South or via the SlideBrook lift. The northside is a bit more exposed, usually less crowded and if you ski the north side exclusively for the day it is cheaper. FIS, Black Diamond and Exterminator offer some of the steepest terrain on the mountain. On the most crowded of holiday weekends a trip to the north side is recommended.

      Excellent accommodations near Sugarbush

Left on 02/28/2013 for a stay in February 2013

Well cared for accommodations with all necessities. Excellent communication from owner and everything was exactly as described. Condo is exceptionally spacious; there were no issues at all with our group. Beds are comfortable and new. Appliances also all new and in good condition, with nice tableware, pots, pans etc. We made all our food on site, and made the most of the great kitchen!
A great place to rest après-ski with a big screen tv and a nice fire place. Condo also has great high speed internet available through wi-fi, which is a definite asset.
Would definitely stay here again. One of the nicest condos we've rented in recent years! A big thanks to the owner for answering all of my many email questions quickly and thoroughly.

Great location, pleanty of room and excellent throughout

Left on 02/04/2013 for a stay in February 2013

From the moment I was first in touch with the owner until we left last night, the whole experience was smooth, fun and enjoyable. The owner was great to communicate with and also made sure that all the bases were covered to ensure we'd have a great time.

      Condo overview
The unit is clean, roomy and was able to accommodate 8 guys visiting for a ski weekend at Sugarbush. While we still threw down some air mattresses, we never felt cramped. The appliances, furniture, carpet and amenities were in excellent shape (near new throughout). In short, it looks like (or sometimes even better) than the photos which was one of the deciding factors when we decided to book.

      Location
This unit is about a 3 minute drive up the hill from the main Sugarbush lodge. It is also on a shuttle stop at the foot of the hill (2 minute walk to the shuttle stop at the entrance of the complex). No need to drive to the mountain as the shuttle made things very easy. We did end up driving to dinner at The Common Man as well as american Flat Bread but around Sugarbush, there's no avoiding it unless you want to limit yourself to the main lodge.

      Booking process
as detailed above, the owners did a great job of being responsive each time I reached out with questions. My initial inquiry was met with a response the same day. The lease agreement and process was very straight forward and was what I expected. We had some questions a day or two in advance and once again, the owner was right there to help out. All-in-all, they made it one of the most seamless processes I've experienced and we've been doing this type of trip throughout Vermont for the last 5+ years.

      Value
We strongly feel that we got a great value. The unit felt "new" and given its location, coupled with the fact that Sugarbush can tilt towards the pricier side, this certainly was a good and fair deal.

That said, we are already planning to come back in 2014!
