This stone built cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Warslow in the Peak District National Park and can sleep two people. Shay Side Cottage is a stone built cottage situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park village of Warslow. This all ground floor cottage sleeps two and has one double bedroom as well as a family shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting/dining room. The outside of this cottage has a garden with furniture and ample off road parking. Shay Side Cottage is perfect for a romantic retreat and an ideal holiday cottage for exploring the area.

Amenities: LPG central heating. Gas hob,... built-in electric oven and microwave, fridge, washing machine, flat screen HD TV, DVD/Blu-ray player, CD/radio. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Pretty private garden with garden furniture. Sorry, no pets. Non smokers only. Pub 10 mins walk. Shop 5 mins drive.

Town: In the heart of the Peak District National Park is the delightful village of Warslow-near-Hartington, situated on the side of the beautiful Manifold Valley. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy this location due to the "Manifold Trail" – a wonderful path which winds a course through superb scenery along the route of the old Leek to Manifold Light Railway. The village of Warslow itself is a pretty, stone settlement and though it is home to a lovely pub, the nearby town of Harrington provides the vast majority of local services and amenities for this charming little place. The market town of Ashbourne is slightly further a field but also hosts a wide range of shops, restaurants and pubs. For those looking for a more thrill-filled holiday, the popular theme park of Alton Towers is a 30 minute drive away.Read more

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  This little cottage contains all that is necessary for a great holiday in the Peak Districk. We found the location very good and central for visiting all of the area and it's attractions including Chatworth House,Matlock Bath,the Heights of Abraham and Alton Towers. Great pubs in Hartingham
