Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

We had a great holiday. The Bungalow was quiet even though opposite a school. It felt like being at home. The standard was very good and would recommend it. The garden was very nice and the dog enjoyed herself as well. The village only had one shop but the nearest supermarket was only a couple of miles away.

The bungalow was just as they said it was,it was very cosy, warm wecolm and very clean.Fow us it was great to see the family who live quiet close. The local postoffice was very handy so was the local hotel for a welcome meal.This bugalow was also handy for the lakes as well.This place i would stay again.

very nice cottage, felt at home as soon as we arrived, it was spotlessly clean, with tea making facilities left for us to use when we arrived. It was near many different locations so we did not have to travel many miles.
Will definitely be going again.

The bungalow was easy to locate and instructions were clear.There was a welcome pack;very thoughtful.The accommodation was adequately furnished, comfortable and warm. Warton is a pleasant village,in an interesting area,with easy access to Silverdale,the RSPB reserve,Kendal and the South Lakes.We enjoyed our short break very much and would recommend this house and area to anyone who wishes to explore South Cumbria and North Lancashire.

A really lovely property, we instantly felt at home in it. It seems more like a home than a holiday cottage and we felt like guests than holiday makers. The village is very quiet with only one shop which is only open limited hours - beware, but Carnforth with large supermarkets is only two miles away.
It's a great place to get to - only 5 minutes from the M6 motorway but be aware that you have a 20-30 minute drive before reaching even the most southernmost of the lakes.

We found it a much prettier area than expected. It was very close to the M6 so made touring simple. It was easy to go in all directions. We had never been to that part of Lancashire before and the scenery on the drive up to the South Lakes was stunning. Coming home in the evenings to a cosy bungalow was delightful. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.
