We loved staying here with our two boys, ages 15 and 12. The location is perfect - just a five minute walk to the metro, restaurants and other amenities. Great wi-fi and dish TV, if you need those. Washer and dryer in the basement let us pack fewer clothes. The building is charming and the street is (mostly!) quiet. The owner is very helpful and when my son left his Smithsonian poster in the apartment, she mailed it back to him! We stayed for a full week. Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I had a wonderful, three night stay on T Street. This charming little apartment is in a terrific location in the heart of the U Street Corridor. There's a 3-story Room and Board on one corner, a terrific bar on another, and a funky antique store on another. The Metro is just three blocks away, and the Circulator goes up and down 14th St every 10 minutes. We walked out to breakfast every morning at Busboys and Poets, hit Ben's Chili Bowl, and saw some terrific jazz at Bohemian Caverns -- all on foot. Any kind of cuisine you want is within just a few blocks. But we would have been quite happy cooking in the very nicely outfitted kitchen and relaxing in the comfort of the living room, with large windows looking out on trees. Everything was spotless, the colors were fresh and calming, and Eva has included things such as umbrellas, shopping bags, and lovely organic products to make your stay more pleasant. We will definitely stay here again!

I decided to rent the apartment instead of staying at a hotel because of the price and have no regrets whatsoever. The apartment is beautiful, very comfortable and, most importantly for me, in a perfect location. In the 4 nights I spent in Washington I simply walked everywhere I wanted, for the apartment is very well located. Also, the owner and her assistants are very kind and quick to answer doubts. I would definitely stay there again and have no reservations in recommending this apartment for anyone willling for a comfortable stay in DC.

I stayed over two weeks in Eva's place and gotta say, I loved it.
This was my business trip to Washington, DC and my company's goal was to find a place to fit our budget. Eva's apartment was a great match.
It is very conveniently located, walking distance to downtown (DC gov't), restaurants, cafes and museums (for some free time :))
The apartment I rented at Eva's building was clean and very practical.
During my stay, Eva had checked with me if everything was going well and I needed any help.. That was a shocker as it has never happened to me in the past. A lot of rental owners just don't care as much.
If I ever go on a business trip to Washington, DC again, I will definitely reach out to Eva and rent one of her apartments. -

I can't say enough about the merits of staying at 1415 T St versus a nearby hotel. First of all the advantages of its location - such as proximity to all sights, and amenities galore a few steps away. However what you also get is the feel of a homey, elegant and comfortable apartment with full kitchen. I wish we could have stayed longer. Hoping to visit again soon.
