This two bedroom condominium, located in historic building in the NW quadrant of Washington DC, Columbia Heights neighborhood known for its Victorian architecture, offers spacious 1200 square feet of living space, two large bedrooms, two full bathrooms and convenient location within walking distance to Metro, shopping and restaurants.
Our living room offers spacious seating as well as pull up sofa for additional sleeping area. Private, off-street parking available at garage around the corner. Free Wireless/Wired DSL as well as free laundry facilities in the building. Our eat in kitchen offers seating for four to six.

My husband and I recently spent one week in DC with our two sons ages 15 & 11. After doing some research, we decided to try a vacation rental instead of a traditional hotel. It was such a good decision! We were able to "spread out" in the apartment with ample space for our family of four. Having two separate bedrooms and two separate bathrooms for the adults and kids was wonderful. It was also wonderful to have acess to a kitchen. The property is a short walk from a Giant grocery store (literally, the name of the store is Giant) and from a DC Metro station (yellow & green lines). These two features saved us a lot of money since we didn't have to dine out every meal, and since we relied on public transportation during our entire stay. I would describe the neighborhood where the property is located as "ecclectic." It appears to be in a state of development - some properties are fully rehabiltated, some are rehab in progress, and some are old and vacant. We walked to and from the Metro station at various times of day & night and never felt unsafe in the neighborhood. The apartment itself was very clean and well equipped with modern conveniences - comfortable beds, soft clean linens, big fluffy towels, good showers, new kitchen appliances, and kitchen cabinets well-stocked with dishes, pots & pans, and cooking utensils. We also had free access to a washer & dryer located in the building's basement, which we utilized once during our week-long stay. We did not meet the property owners in person, but they were very attentive and responsive via text and email. All-in-all, it was a spectacular experience for my family and I would definitely recommend this property to other families vacationing in the DC area.

I rented this apartment for a family trip. It was perfect for a group of 6. Everyone felt comfortable, the location was near shopping, metro and also offered plenty of opportunities to have a delicious dinner. The apartment itself was really clean and all the necessities were provided. Also the owners were very easy and helpful. I'd definitely rent again while visiting DC.

I stayed here with two other colleagues while attending an event at The DC Convention Center and this was the best location we could have hoped for. The unit was very close to Metro, Shopping and lively neighborhood but at the same time located on a quiet street The beds were very comfortable and the unit was very nicely furnished and very clean. We had plenty of space for the three of us and very much enjoyed the neighborhood. Would highly recommend this unit.
