This two bedroom condominium, located in historic building in the NW quadrant of Washington DC, Columbia Heights neighborhood known for its Victorian architecture, offers spacious 1200 square feet of living space, two large bedrooms, two full bathrooms and convenient location within walking distance to Metro, shopping and restaurants.
Our living room offers spacious seating as well as pull up sofa for additional sleeping area. Private, off-street parking available at garage around the corner. Free Wireless/Wired DSL as well as free laundry facilities in the building. Our eat in kitchen offers seating for four to six.

This was our first vacation rental in the States. Was a little nervous, but so glad we booked it.
From the very beginning, communication with the owner was excellent. She was efficient and helpful, even sending through some ideas for places to see and eat. There was a slight issue with accessing the apartment when we arrived (it was locked when we were informed it would be unlocked) but thankfully, this was rectified with a quick phone call and we were in within seconds! No big hassle.
Apartment was very clean and decor was great. It's mostly Ikea furnishings, but done well. It has everything you need and the free wifi was much appreciated!
It was so lovely to have some space after 2 weeks of living in hotels. Bathrooms were wonderful (and I saw a lot of them...read on!) and bedrooms were good. There was a slight draft in one of the rooms, which we informed the owners about on our departure. They said they would rectify it, which I have no doubt, based on our experience with them, that they will.
We were very excited to be in DC for the inauguration. Unfortunately, I picked up the winter flu whilst in transit from Chicago to Washington DC, so spent 4/5 days of our stay in bed. Not the best way to spend time in DC, but was so thankful that we were in the apartment. It was the perfect place to rest. Also, there was a medical centre nearby, which was great.
Thankfully, I was well enough for the last day and we did a mammoth effort and saw Capitol Hill, the White House, National air and Space museum, Botanic Gardens, National Museum of the american Indian and Lincoln Memorial in one day!!! Also, a great 'comfy' dinner at The Heights.
Anyway...really loved the apartment. Would definitely recommend it. Surrounding neighbourhood isn't glitzy, but we felt safe enough to walk around. Was nice being amongst the locals rather than on the tourist strip. There's a shopping centre nearby and the metro is a 5-7 minute walk. Even in the middle of winter and recovering from the flu, this was fine.

Our family of 5 stayed in this apartment for 6 nights and we just loved it! Our time in Washington was so much fun! All of us had enough room within this beautifully equipped place. And the beds were so comfortable! The apartment is located in a great area for going out to eat or have drinks, and it was very convenient to metro. We didn't even use our car during the entire stay. I would definitely recommend staying here, and I hope I will have a possibility to return myself.
