This studio condominium is located in historic building in the NW quadrant of Washington DC Columbia Heights and is within walking distance to Metro, shopping and restaurants.
The condominium offers fully furnished kitchen, central heat and A/C, private, off-street parking , free Wi-Fi, cable TV as well as free laundry facilities in the building.
We are located just two blocks to Columbia Heights Metro (green and yellow line), the Tivoli Theater, DC USA shopping center, the Heights restaurant, Giant grocery store, Sticky Fingers vegan bakery and cafe and all the dinning and shopping located around the Tivoli square.

This little efficiency offered quick access to the metro into DC. Good choice for a solo traveler just needing a place to crash at night. The unit was very clean, well stocked kitchen, but for someone who loves to cook and is trying to control expenses, not a great choice as turning the oven on kept triggering the fire alarm (to which no one ever responded). Nephew on site very responsive to requests when available- very nice family. My one night to relax, cook and watch TV was interrupted by a repairman for the internet service who insisted Sunday was the only time he could work on the problem for the building, which required access to my unit. I ended up going to a pizza place close by which was excellent. Assume this was a one-time issue.
Would not recommend for 2 people, anyone with excessive luggage or a disability (very small space and have to climb steps, anyone with car as parking is very limited, anyone needing lots of TV choices (very limited stations) nor anyone hypersensitive to noise as unit is right next to main entrance , people would gather at stoop next to window to talk and you can hear everyone going in and out. Neighborhood OK- some streets run down but felt safe walking around. Lots of great architecture. Grocery store close by that had whatever you needed - lots of loitering ouside. Got the sense that the neighborhood has been run down for years and is making a comeback, maybe because of more affordable housing, as there were homes being cleaned up, fixed up and some higher end stores moving into the area. -

My daughter, 15, and I stayed 5 ½ weeks at 3504 13th St NW. I found the apartment on Vrbo, rented by Elizabeth and Jarek. The owners were so helpful and answered all of my questions and provided valuable information. The place, which looks just like the photos, was so much better than I expected. It only has a double bed, but we purchased an air mattress from Target and it worked fine for us. I cooked daily in the small kitchen that had everything I needed. The cable tv and wireless internet worked perfectly, too. It's very convenient to the bus stops and metro station and right by Target, a grocery store, Sticky Fingers (vegan bakery), and many more shops. I feel so lucky that we got to stay there.

We had a beautiful visit. The apartment was wonderful, clean and comfortable. Location couldn't be beat. Restaurants in the neighborhood were great. We couldn't have been happier. The flat was quiet, despite being on a busy street, and the building was quiet. We'd stay again.

This studio was clean, well maintained and exactly as described. It was the perfect location for our trip. We had great communication with the owner from the very beginning answering all my questions and providing good directions. Very close to anything you would need, metro, restaurants, grocery store, shopping and more. Thanks! We'll definitely be back during the summer:)
