San Diego, CaliforniaFabulous Location!
Left on 05/17/2013 for a stay in April 2013
My mother (86 yrs), sister and I spent 8 nights in this wonderful converted carriage house in april 2013. It is within easy walking distance of a Metro station, grocery store, drug store, Starbucks, and too many great restaurants and cafes to count. The neighborhood is lovely with trees and gardens in every direction so, walking anywhere is always a pleasure.
Jennifer was a dream to work with arranging for our stay and really went above and beyond when I wanted to have flowers delivered before we arrived. She was very helpful and her follow through ensured a wonderful surprise for Mom. Since Jennifer is an off-site manager, I know she went to extra lengths to help us. I get the feeling this is what Jennifer is all about!
We really liked having separate bedrooms, bathrooms, and living space so we weren’t on top of each other. The unit is very well appointed: tons of extra bedding, towels, and fully equipped kitchen. The huge peninsula allows people in the kitchen to still feel a part of what goes on in the living room, and that’s nice!
Now for the only caveat: Jennifer was right when she told us that this unit would not be good for the disabled or those with small children. The carriage house is at the back of the property and there are stairs up and down, in and out, to get into the unit. There is also a spiral staircase inside. Rolling our suitcases in and out was a challenge . . . but we did it! One of us needed to walk with Mom all the way in and out because of the steps. That being said, all three of us would stay there again in a heartbeat. The fun of an historical home in a lovely neighborhood out-weights a cookie-cutter hotel any day! -

Jennifer was so accommodating when arranging our stay, and when we had to cancel, was very easy to deal with and cooperative. Highly recommend!

Long Beach, CaliforniaA Great Week at Jennifer's Row House apartment
Left on 02/02/2013 for a stay in September 2012
First of all I have to give high marks to the owner Jennifer, I had so many questions about the place, since we were traveling from California to Washington DC and I found this place on the internet so I was just looking at pictures.I had to depend on Jennifer and she came through with flying colors. Every e-mail I sent she would answer it very promptly. She was very professional and very kind. The Garden apt. B was everything we wanted. My husband and I along with our daughter and her husband stayed there the last week in Sept. The apt. was very quiet. The Row house apt was centrally located to restaurants, markets and especially the subways to get to the capital. so we were able to walk everywhere around Dupont Circle. I liked the fact that the apt had a washer and dryer. I also asked if the apt had a crock pot, Jennifer said no but she would have one there when we got there. I thought that was great! I didn't have to worry about getting the keys because there were none to worry about. Jennifer had everything under control. The best thing I liked was the security of the building. Thanks Jennifer for everything, Mary

Left on 01/28/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We stayed in this apartment between Christmas and New Year 2012. The apartment was well equipped and spacious. The location was terrific with all amenities close at hand. We walked to the White House and Museums some days, and caught the Metro others. Jennifer was great to deal with, and I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough.

It was a pleasure Jennifer. We stayed in a few apartments in the 5 weeks we were in the States and yours was easily the best. Thanks again, -

Pros: Jennifer's excellent communication and desire to help make your stay beneficial is a big plus. This property is well maintained and located in a perfect location in a lovely neighborhood. Easy metro access, lot's of dining and shopping opportunities in easy walking distance. The carriage house unit was recently redone, very lovely, quiet and a pleasure to return to after a day trip. Nothing but good to say for our visit.
Con: If you need accessibility features of have very small children, this isn't for you. Stairs inside and outside the unit. Tv didn't have cable news channels, but owner will fix and that's not what you are there for. -

Really enjoyed our stay in D.C. The apartment was very spacious for an apartment in D.C. Everything was clean and comfortable. Nice neighborhood, that is close to all kinds of shopping, restaurants, etc. Would definitely recommend.

Melbourne, AustraliaWhat a fabulous apartment and location.

We stayed here from 24th March - 29th March. 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Had great communication from Jennifer and got all our instructions for checking in. What a beautiful, clean, well equipped apartment. This was a great location. Close to Dupont Circle subway, and close to supermarket and eateries. Plenty of supplies for us to use. Jennifer has really got it all worked out here. Even had a framed subway map in the kitchen. Plenty of bedding options, and room to move and spread out. Loved our stay in DC and would recommend to friends. Would love to come back again one day.
