The house has a carport and wide driveway which can accommodate up to 4 cars. It is located on a lovely tree-lined street in Suburban Maryland, an easy ride on Metro Redline to Washington, DC. The house is a short walk to gorgeous Brookside Gardens and Conservatory (free admission), which boasts acres of trails and flowers, as well as a Nature Center. Through Brookside, you can access Wheaton Regional Park which has walking trails, playgrounds, a train and carousel for kids, a pond for fishing, tennis courts, and an indoor skating rink! There is horseback riding nearby as well. The house is close to shopping, Metro, a library, movie theaters and restaurants, as well as live theater at the Olney Theater and Bethesda Roundhouse Theater; the Fillmore Concert Hall, pedestrian street, shops, and cafes in downtown Silver Spring, and live music, concerts, and Art Exhibits at nearby Strathmore Mansion and Music Center. Of course, all that Washington, DC has to offer, including FREE admission to all Smithsonian Museums including the National Gallery of Art and the National Zoo, is only a Metro ride away.

We had the opportunity to spend six nights and seven days in this vacation home. There were a total of 10 in the group (five kids and five adults). The home was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The pool was a huge success with the kids. The wireless internet was fast and having a printer came in handy for printing tickets and boarding passes. The neighborhood was very quiet. In fact, it was so quiet that we were afraid we might be disturbing neighbors since we spent so much time every evening in the pool. I would recommend this vacation home to anyone. Can't beat the price, location and amenities. Mimi was very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

This house met our expectations and more. Lovely tranquil location and very convenient to the DC metrorail, which we used. The home was beautifully furnished and stocked very well - the kitchen was great. The four bedrooms upstairs were large, with plenty of room to spread out. The pool and back patio was a big hit with our family - so much fun! - and also the ping pong downstairs.
Mimi was so responsive and easy to work with, ensuring everything was just right for our stay. If we are ever back in the area, we would stay here again in a heartbeat - you will not find anything better or more reasonably priced!! -

Communication with renters was very good and house was fully equipped. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. We felt safe in the location while being close to downtown. Unfortunately rained whole time we were there but the yard and pool area is beautiful. Nice having tvs in bedrooms and high-speed internet was useful. Will definetly stay here again if we return to DC.

This is an extremely nice home in a very quiet neighborhood. It is fairly close to the metro. I highly recommend this rental. The owners are very accommodating. Lots of books. Very fast Internet. Look forward to returning when the pool is open.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this charming property! For being so close to Washington, D.C. and public transportation (metro), it was amazingly quiet.
Wonderful amenities, very comfortable beds, extremely clean. I would love to return in the summer to enjoy the gorgeous pool!
