What Past Guests Are Saying
Perfect mix of well-equipped spaces and homespun treasures
Stayed here three nights with extended family and friends. We cooked food for our oldest daughter's wedding reception nearby. The kitchen is well-furnished with prep areas, cutting boards, implements, pans, pots and tools. Ample cups, mugs, wine glasses. Beds in the main rooms very comfortable. Bunk room beds are best for kids, my 6 foot+ tall son found them a little short but he was only with us for the last night. Lovely views from the kitchen diningroom windows, bird-feeders, etc. Ample outdoor seating and tables under the canopy.
Fire ring bench seating a perfect touch for the evening's finale.
Grand Rapids, Michigan
best experience in a guest house ever.
Pretty much the best of everything. Wonderful, clean, unique rooms, great gathering places, delicious breakfasts, very special location. All of these great amenities plus warm and helpful hosts that made the visit so much richer. They shared their knowledge of the area, that allowed us to hike and discover spots we would never have known existed. Both Steve and Elsie were very generous with the use of their house, allowing us to use the kitchen, laundry room, outdoor deck and grill when we liked. All of that plus the gorgeous Columbia river valley. Highly recommended.
