Spirit Lake, IowaLovely, clean and with all the amenities we needed.

I contacted the property owners (who live right near the chalets) and spoke directly to the gentleman who owns these beautiful cabin/chalets. He was gracious, helpful and very polite. He gave us some great ideas for restaurants and the alaska State Fair was on at that time too. My 76 year old mother was with me and she very much enjoy the cleanliness and friendliness during our stay.

Elk City, KansasTwo Unforgettable Nights in Heaven

A beautiful drive awaited us to Troller's Timbers in Wasilla's countryside. When we arrived we found a peaceful setting. The cabins were warm and inviting to weary travelers that had flown into anchorage wanting some relaxation and a good nights sleep. Highly recommended to both the young and old. You will not be disappointed.

San Francisco, CaliforniaPrivate, Modern, & Spotless!

Our stay at Toller's Timbers was relaxing, and peaceful. The cabins are more like mini apartments, but separated with ideal landscaping, and ample distance. Totally modern & fully equipped right up to having a washer & dryer! A large bathroom & shower, a cozy
and firm mattress. A huge walk-in closet with washer & dryer. We really enjoyed
the large leather recliners to catch-up on reading and local programing. No cable here, but come on with this setting...you can catch-up when you get home, already! Short distances to Hatcher Pass State Park, and the historic town of Palmer. Book now!!! -

I stayed in the Moose Run cabin as a long term renter (corporate housing) Sep-May 2009. The cabin is clean and comfortable. There is a nice bedroom upstairs and bunkbeds for any guests. Free wi-fi and a small kitchen with basic utensils and a microwave. The deck is nice to sit on during fall evening dinners. It is conveniently located between Palmer and Wasilla, but away from the busy Parks Highway. The owners are very friendly and live right on the property, so they respond to any problems immediately. Moose Run earned it's name as I saw several moose during my stay (mama and two calves, who had a keen eye on Doreen's beautiful garden area). I really appreciated that the owners recycle and have an area where you can sort your recyclables on the premise. Plenty of parking and Bob is the man when it comes time to plow snow.

San Antonio, TXHands down, the best place to stay in this area!
Left on 06/10/2011 for a stay in May 2011
Tollers' Timbers is by far the best value in this area. This was my second stay here and, like the first time, I was very happy with the accommodations. The owners are very nice and helpful. They're there if you need anything but they stay out of your way and do not intrude at all. The cabin I stayed at this time was Eagle View (?) which will accommodate alot of people. I stayed there with my two teenagers. Everything you need is there - kitchen appliances, dishes, washer/dryer, linens, towels, etc. They even provide you with some food for your first morning in case you get in late. The view out the kitchen and living area windows is awesome. They do have cable TV and wireless internet. However, on the internet, be warned if you're not from alaska. Internet providers in alaska charge by the download so, although the Tollers don't charge for internet usage, you won't be able to watch movies or do online games (too slow for this but you'll have this problem anywhere you stay in alaska...). For me, the location was great. It's conveniently located between Wasilla and Palmer so getting to town was pretty quick. It's not in town though so it's really peaceful and quiet. No traffic, no loud music, nobody slamming doors or running up and down a hallway outside your door. It was really a great experience and this is where I will stay when I go back to alaska (provided they have openings...)
