Arcadia is a stylish and comfortable 4 / 5 bedroom villa set in one acre of tropical garden only a 100 yards easy walk from the white sandy beach of Turtle Bay, next to the protected Watamu Marine Park. The property has a large swimming pool and wonderful interior and exterior entertaining areas to while away the day in this tropical paradise. Over-looking the pool and towards the house is a large makuti-shaded double bed which is a wonderful spot to relax and watch the family in the pool.

The house has four bedrooms, each with air-conditioning, overhead fans and mosquito nets and ensuite bathrooms. There are three bedrooms downsta...irs, joined by a corridor that leads into a hall where a pool table stands outside the large modern kitchen. A further WC and shower room is also off the hall for guests. Another large seating area and bar are at the other end of the ground floor where there is a further small double bed opposite the TV and DVD, with overhead fan and mosquito net, allowing it to be used as a fifth bedroom if necessary.

Upstairs is the magnificent master bedroom which has an 8ft wide bed, overhead fan and large ensuite bathroom - between the bedroom and the terrace is a further sleeping area for 2 children, and on the terrace is a private cement bed that overlooks the pool and garden.

Watamu is one of the top 10 beaches in the world. Located approximately 100km North of Mombasa, the waters are a protected Marine Park allowing spectacular opportunities for snorkelling and scuba-diving, with lovely corals and blizzards of colourful fish. The pristine white sands along Turtle Bay Beach are a haven for nesting Turtles, and every now and again you have the privilege to see the little rubbery turtle hatchlings make their first mad bid for the ocean. Watamu is a special place for all water sports, from Deep-Sea Fishing to Kite-Surfing and Kayaking. Close by is the protected Mida Creek and it's fabulous array of birdlife and mangrove forests - a trip to Watamu is not complete without a dhow trip to watch the spectacular sun-sets over Mida.
