A unique 2 story log cabin nestled amongst the trees, sleeps 8 adults comfortably with 2 full baths and one half bath. Full kitchen with all the utensils you would ever need, indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit . Downtown Waynesville nearby with quaint shops with lots of arts and crafts. Many Golf courses nearby. Biltmore Estate only 25 minutes away in Asheville, 8 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and just a short drive to the beautiful Great Smokey Mountain National Park and Gatlinburg. Easy access and ample parking. Large porch with swings, rocking chairs, hammock, picnic table and gas grill for family time together.

My wife and I spent a very relaxing and rejuvenating week at Grandma's cabin. The location is central to a lot of things in the area, but it is remote enough to be off the beaten path. The cabin is very cozy with a wrap-around porch that provided us with great morning and evening times to enjoy the birds and beauty of the trees and flowers around the cabin. We would definitely go back if we get the opportunity. One note about the a/C: we were there during record high temps. The a/C is only on the main level, which provides comfort in the living, dining, and kitchen. There is an attic fan that helps to cool the cabin but can take a little longer in extreme high temps. But for the price, location, and quality you cannot beat Grandma's Cabin. The fire-pit was a nice bonus.

Grandma's Cabin was our destination for a small family get-away. The adult sibling kind. It is just far enough off the highway to be secluded but not hard to find. It is spacious enough for snoozers to sleep in and adventurers to enjoy the early mountain air. There is much to see within a short driving distance. My wife and sister enjoyed reading on the porch.

Grandma's Cabin is a wonderful place to vacation. It is so peaceful and there is a lot to do in the surrounding towns. We have stayed several times and have gone horse-back riding, white-water rafting, outlet shopping and the local shopping. We love the block parties on Main Street and the local festivals. We have always had beautiful weather. It is a beautiful home which is very cozy and nicely decorated. We loved the fire pit! I also love taking afternoon naps on the porch swing. I could go on and on. Every experience has exceeded the one before. It is great for kids and adults with so much to offer.

Our family absolutely loves staying at Grandmas Cabin. We spent most of our days during our last stay outside picking wild blackberries and blueberries, stomping in the near by creeks, and visiting some of the attractions in asheville. Our kids loved making smors in the fire pit each night and going downtown for the Friday night street dance.
You should definitely give this one a second look. Great value, great location and friendly owners you can't go wrong with this one!
