Our smaller holiday home offers you its three floors for everything you need in a relaxing vacation. The cottage was once reserved to the milkers of Rechetsberg Manor, and it has been called "the Swiss-home" up to today, because many diary workers came from Switzerland at that time. It has been renovated with a lot of love recently and it now offers space for up to 6 persons. Right from the doorstep, the exquisite, virgin nature is in direct sight. My husband and I spent June, July and august at this home in beautiful Bavaria. As we had friends and family visiting from the us most of the summer, we chose Gut Rechetsberg for its central location in Europe and its natural beauty. After many road trips throughout Europe, our home base was the perfect peaceful place. Christine and her family were 100% attentive to all our needs, especially as my German is very limited. She arranged everything from a special birthday party for one of our friends to helping us find dry cleaners and other various merchants. The house was perfectly clean with updated amenities yet located amongst the picture perfect dairy farms of Bavaria. The local people were also very hospitable and memorable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is a lovely, comfortable and romantic holiday apartment in a quiet area, even though it's near to Munich and Garmisch Partenkirchen .The apartment is lovely furnished and well equipped and simply has everthing what you would need in a home away from home!.The indigenous people are especially friendly and helpful and made us feel at home! Overall there's a huge garden, parklike landscape, a scenic mountain view...
The little village nearby Huglfing is very pleasant and well positioned to take in beautiful Bavaria. We visited Munich, Garmisch, Murnau, Oberammergau and it was just great! Overall, a wonderfully relaxing holiday for those of us who are not beach junkies! We'll recommend your home!"

This is a really beautiful location: huge garden, clean bed rooms and bathrooms, full kitchen facilities, wonderfully furnished, friendly people...
It's only 60 minutes from Munich and about 40 minutes from Garmisch. We loved it! Best vacation we've had for years! Thank you!
