Muhudu Bella is a very stylish single-bedroom beach hut. Its design reflects both the Sri Lankan culture and the modern style.
The hut geometry is fascinating.
The bedroom is a round room with a large glass door which allows enjoying the ocean without leaving the hut. A small dressing room is located behind a high backrest of the bed. From there you can get on to a small terrace which overlooks a tropical garden where hibiscus blossoms all year round.
A few steps down the spiral stair from the bedroom you will find yourself in the bathroom which is also of a round shape.

A beautiful place with a lovely, helpful and friendly staff. The hut itself was wonderfully decorated and being set away from the larger villa, offered a sense of privacy while still having the amenities of a full staff and kitchen. That, plus the fact that it was on one of the most beautiful little beaches I've ever seen meant that we could have spent the entire time there without leaving. When we did want to leave, the staff made it easy for us to rent a bike or order a taxi. The staff were truly excellent- they were available when we needed them, but not at all intrusive.
The only thing i missed was the ability to use credit cards.
