The Retreat is a detached barn conversion situated in Sampford Moor, just three miles from Wellington. It sleeps four across two bedrooms. The Retreat is a welcoming cottage and is sitiuated on the Dorset and Somerset border in the lovely hamlet of Sampford Moor. This barn conversion has a cosy sitting room, which contains an electric woodburner effect fire. The Retreat sleeps four and has two bedrooms - one double and one twin. It also has a bathroom, well equipped fitted kitchen with dining area and can boast breathtaking views of the Vale of Taunton Dene. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The retreat was an excellant location for us as our daughter only lives a few minutes away very cosey cottage and everything you need is there although it could do with up dating the furnihings was a little sad but really enjoyed our stay and would return again

Was everthing as advertised. Comfy beds and well furnished including Equipment, Books, Games and usual household bits & bobs. Good location for exploring Somerset. A little background noise from Motorway but didn't keep us awake and we sleep with windows open. Enjoyable stay.

Great little cottage for a small family. Very comfortable and clean with all the facilities you need for your stay. Very quiet little village, don't be put off by the pub next door as it doesn't get noisy (they serve excellent bar meals too). Don't be put off by the location of the motorway either because you cannot hear it. I would recommend this cottage to anyone wishing to stay in the area and it is a great base for exploring Somerset and Devon.
