This charming, cozy, and immaculate cottage is located in a quiet (low traffic) section of the 43 acre, gated Beach Dreams resort. It sleeps five and has one bathroom and two bedrooms... one with a queen bed and the other with a twin over double bunk bed. There also is a three season enclosed sun porch ... windows open to enjoy the gentle breezes or closed to protect from rain or cooler weather. Selkie 167 has quality furnishings and an attractive decor ... your comfort and enjoyment are very important to us. Visit us in May or June ... a lovely time of year with no crowds, but still many fun things to do.

This was our first family vacation in Wells, me and it was very enjoyable, primarily because of the Selkie 167 cottage and the owner's hospitality. From beginning to end, we were amazed with the quality of the cottage and it's furnishings as well as the value of the rental. My family of four (including two young children) along with my mother stayed for the week and found the cottage roomy enough for all of our baggage. Having the fully equipped kitchen made the vacation economical and convenient with the children. The assortment of games, books, movies, sand toys, etc... certainly helped us get through the cold, rainy times when the beach was not an option. The bedding was very high quality and condition of the entire cottage was immaculate! It was in the exact condition of the pictures on this site, although in person it was even better with the gorgeous wood floors! Having our own washer/dryer within the unit was very helpful in that we did not need to over-pack clothing. The central location of the Beach Dreams complex made day trips to the many beautiful area beaches very easily accessible either by vehicle or biking. We will surely return to this unit as we were so sad to leave after our week long stay.

Nous avons aimé cette petite maison douillette, très bien décorée avec toutes les commodités.
Nous avons aussi apprécié la piscine communautaire...le tennis.
Endroit très paisible après nos journées de découverte des environs...
La communication avec Judith fut très agréable malgré mon mauvais anglais.
Seul le mode de paiement est compliqué pour les Québécois

This lovely cottage is not like a rental, but more like a "home away from home". It is immaculate, very tastefully and comfortably decorated and fully equipped with everything one might need while on vacation. The mattresses are great - expect to sleep well! The kitchen is thoughtfully supplied with cooking tools, dishes, etc., if the choice is to eat in. There are many amenities, such as a binder full of recommendations and suggestions for activities, sight seeing, beaches, restaurants, etc., dvd's, games and books for young and old, and even a washer and dryer. The owners have thought of everything to make a stay at this cottage so inviting you will want to come back again and again. The sunporch is a perfect spot to begin the day, come back to relax after a day out and about, or anytime in between! The cottage is located in a peaceful setting, yet convenient to the attractions of this prime vacation area.

Beach Dreams exceeded our expectations. The cottage was very clean and well stocked - we just bought a few things at the nearby grocery and we were ready to move in. Our bedroom had plenty of closet space and a very comfortable queen bed. The kitchen was roomy and easy to use. A screened-in porch offered a light and pleasant place to be. Stores, restaurants, the ocean, and other small towns were all conveniently close. We look forward to spending more vacations in Maine and we will definitely stay there again.

This cottage is adorable and centrally located so you can easily enjoy the lovely beaches of Ogunquit and Wells. It is immaculate, beautifully decorated, comfortable and has everything you need for a fabulous vacation with family or friends! There was a great selection of books and movies to enjoy after a day spent at the beach. It even has the convenience of a washer and dryer, so you can pack light! This was my first experience here but, it certainly won't be my last. When vacationing I look for location, comfort and convenience and this cottage offers it all!

Wow! This cottage is close to perfect! It has all the features one would hope for when renting a vacation spot. The attention to detail, from the cleanliness, to the comfort of each piece of furniture, ie, the bed, chair couch, etc. are heavenly. The owner thought of everything. No corners are cut. I can't think of any improvements I would make. Perhaps the owner was planning the cottage for her use. That's how special it is. I plan to return many times.

Our children claim this is the best vacation spot ever so we returned again.
Both Beach Dreams and the cottage are family friendly and provide great activities.
We visited a different beach each day, but were always happy to return to
Selkie 167 and its cheerful decor. The cottage has games, Dvd's and
(local color) books for both adults and children. Kitchen is fully
equipped, the sun porch is so relaxing, beds are extremely comfortable, and
the cottage is very, very clean. -

We have been renting in Wells for ten years, and past rentals simply do not compare to this immaculate, comfortable, and well-equipped cottage. The sunroom is a family favorite. Every year we are surprised by upgrades or replacements. For example, there are now storm windows in the sunroom, overhead fan in the kitchen, and plantation shutters in the bedrooms. If something begins to show wear, it is soon replaced. The cottage is in a very peaceful, relaxing location with very little traffic. Tennis courts are right there, and it is a short walk to the smaller pool. The activity book provided by the owners has introduced us to all kind of places and activities we wouldn't have known about - Forts Foster and McClary, the Children's Museum in Dover, NH, and the albacore Museum in Portsmouth. There also are restaurant recommendations and information on beaches from Kittery to Old Orchard Beach.
