We have visited In-B-Tween Cottage twice so far - and will definitely return again. Our first visit was shortly after the current owner first took over the cottage - and had refurbished it to a high standard. Linda has always been so helpful and friendly - dealing with our short stay requests and cheerfully accommodating either one or both of our daughters at short notice, depending on their availability. The property has always been clean, welcoming and well equipped - and the view of Wells Cathedral is wonderful. Wells is a great centre -brilliant as a base for touring Somerset, close enough to Bath and Bristol, small enough so you feel immediately "at home" but having a decent range of pubs and restaurants should you not want to cook in the evening. Not sure I should rate In-B-Tween Cottage so highly - it might get so popular that our spur of the moment request for stays will not be available! The only (very) minor, but unavoidable disadvantage is the ground floor room, which is quite dark, but, as this is only used for the "plus two" sleeping, it has not detracted from our visits and is more than outweighed by the 1st floor living accommodation and the 2nd floor bedroom.

Dear Carol,
Thank you so much for your kind and comprehensive review. We have always found you to be very welcome guests, and hope that you will visit the cottage again soon.
We'll be giving further thought as to how we can improve the lighting in the ground floor room for daytime use.
Kind regards,
Linda -

We have just spent a week in this delightful cottage and would have no hesitation in returning again. It was spotless, warm, comfortable, light and airy and very well equipped. The centre of Wells was a few minutes walk away and there is a wonderful view of the Cathedral from the windows. A parking space opposite the cottage was an added bonus. Despite being so close to the centre it was in a quiet and peaceful setting. Although there is no garden there is a lovely view of other people's gardens from the first floor windows. The bed is very comfortable.

The cottage is located a few minutes walk from the Cathedral in Wells, the centre of the town and various facilities.
the cottage is very well presented, clean and very well looked after.
facilites are excellent, with two separate areas for relaxing , watching tv etc, was really useful when I wanted to curl up with a good book
the cottage is over 3 floors with the kitchen and dining area in the middle, two bathrooms located on the ground and top floor, and a small parking space opposite
we used the cottage as a 'half way home location' after a big camping trip, it was excellent as a quiet, warm and well located place to spend a few days.

This cute cottage was the perfect bolt hole for myself and my boyfriend. It was perfect, spotless, and comfortable. Wells has so much to offer, and it was only
5 mins walk into the bustling square of Wells. There were many places to eat, loads of coffee shops, within easy reach, and the cathedral is a 'must see'. Linda, the owner, was very accommodating and couldn't have been more helpful. There is everything you would need in the cottage, virtually everything is new,and excellent quality. Also parking for one car... a must !
We had a really beautiful, romantic couple of days there and will return again!Response from Linda Davies - 09/21/2012

New ForestA relaxing holiday in a beautiful city
Left on 09/19/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The City of Wells is one of our favourite places to stay in the UK and In-B-Tween Cottage is a delightful holiday home. It has its own parking space and is just a short walk from the Cathedral and facilities of Wells. The cottage is very comfortable, light and modern with amazing views of the Cathedral.
We would certainly recommend a holiday in this lovely property.Response from Linda Davies - 09/21/2012

Left on 09/19/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We have stayed at In-B-Tween three times in the last few years, and each time the standard of service has been impeccable.
The cottage is a small, very clean, cosy and comfortable terraced Mews house, arranged over three stories. The ground floor comprises a sitting room with TV, shower room with toilet and small outside area. One the second floor there is a lovely , well equipped kitchen/diner, which leads upstairs to a simple, modern double bedroom with en suite shower room and toilet, with wonderful cathedral views.
The central location is one of the reasons we return to In-B-Tween time and again. To find such areasonably priced, well equipped, tastefully decorated house, with its own parking space no less, within walking distance of the City Centre makes it a real gem of a find. You can literally be at the Cathedral in less than 5 minutes, and the gorgeous city itself boasts a great range of shops, coffee shops, pubs and places to eat. All easily walk-able from In-B-Tween.
We have visited the cottage in almost all seasons now with visits in July, October and the following april. Perhaps we need to spend Christmas or New Year there one year...?
Highly recommended by a very satisfied repeat visitor.

A group of four of us spent a weekend staying at this lovely little cottage. We arrived to find tea, real coffee!!!,fresh milk, biscuits had been provided (a nice touch)and that the house was warm. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and had a superb view of the cathedral(barely 5 mins stroll away)from the upstairs window. Also within a couple of minutes was an excellent pub for food and a good fish & chip shop. A well equiped kitchen was another plus factor. All in all a lovely place to use as a base for exploring the region (the car parking space was also great benefit as parking in Wells is a pain).
