Chalet Brunner is ideally situated, just 8 minutes walk from all amenities in a sunny position with views of the Jungfrau from the terrace and of the wonderful Lauterbrunnen Valley from its balconies. It has three spacious bedrooms, two of which has two single beds that can be pushed together if required. A cot can also be provided if required. For the skiers, there is a heated ski room where you can leave your boots and skis-its fully secured and you will have your own key. The chalet has a large lounge with dining table and relaxing sofas. There is plenty of space to unwind whilst enjoying the heat from the log burning stove. The kitchen is... fully equipped and why not have your dinner on the terrace whilst enjoying the fabulous scenery. Tables and chairs are provided for both the terrace and the balconies, so just relax and enjoy the view. Chalet Brunner is a ski in ski out location, you can literally ski right back to the front door, just remember to stop! For the ramblers there are unlimited trails right on the doorstep. I can't emphasise enough how beautiful Wengen is.

Wengen lies on a wind protected terrace at the foot of the Jungfrau, 400 metres above the Lauterbrunnen valley at an altitude of 1274 M. The tradition-imbued, car free holiday resort offers a family friendly ski and rambling area around the Mannlichen and the Kleine Scheidegg. With its nostalgic timber houses, the many dispersed holiday chalets and hotels dating from the 'belle-epoque' period, this Bernese Oberland holiday resort has retained all the character of a picture postcard mountain village. Those who like things a bit more spirited might like to try their skill at paragliding, river rafting or canyoning. Opened in 1912, this cog wheel railway leads to highest railway station in Europe at 3454M above sea level. In Winter, Wengen is ideal w/110 KM of easy to medium-difficulty pistes, & renowned World Cup piste on Lauberhorn as its crowning glory.   We've visited Wengen and this apartment three times, and each time we've had a brilliant time. We love the village, the friendly people, the good food and fantastic service but more than that we love this apartment, it's home from home. It's comfortable, stylish and well furnished and has all the facilities you need and it's lovely to come back to after after a days skiing. You can ski straight off the piste into the bar for a little apres ski then trudge a few feet to the ski room then upstairs to relax. We can't fault this place and love everything about it! Can't wait until next year.

  A perfect weeks skiing

  Chalet Brunner was perfect for us. This was our first family ski trip (a first for my wife and the children) and we had the time of our lives. The apartment is spacious, very clean and well equipped and the beds were very comfortable, (just what you need after a hard day skiing the Lauberhorn!) The Chalet is only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Wengen, the station and the supermarket to top up the fridge with food and wine. It is also on the piste so you can ski right to your door. Wengen is beautiful and if you are thinking of skiing this area I would highly recommend Chalet Brunner as a place to stay.

  Fabulous chalet in a perfect location

  This is a great chalet. It had everything I was looking for - space, comfort, style, a great view, and best of all, it was ski in ski out, so no carrying heavy skis. There's an easy accessible, heated ski storage room so your boots can dry overnight - perfect! I've stayed in many chalets and this rates as my favourite.
