Ideal family apartment, extremely well appointed, south facing, with large terrace and magnificent views to the Jungfrau and other mountain peaks. Fantastic location both summer and winter, next to the piste, just above the cable car and the nursery slopes for skiers - mountain trails immediately above us, outdoor swimming pool and barbecue on terrace for amazing summer holidays.

Wengen is a car-free typical old traditional Swiss mountain village that can only be reached by the mountain railway. Whilst it has hotels, restaurants and excellent shops, it is a wonderful quiet hideaway, with excellent skiing in the home of the famous Lauberhorn Downhill race. Enjoy the mountain restaurants in winter and tremendous alpine walking, mountain biking, swimming and many other exciting possibilities in summer.
The views to the mountains are truly spectacular, the trails are well marked and the history and romance of the early climbers on the Eiger North Face, the Monch and Jungrau is all around.
Access to Wengen is only via mountain railway from Lauterbrunnen. There are regular trains from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen, or this is a car park by the Station.
We arrange for our guests ans luggage to be picked up from Wengen Station and taken to the apartment.

The website and personal advice and information we received from Simon and Jo led us to believe the apartment, village and location would be wonderful, and they were! Hohturen is so comfortable with everything we needed and such fantastic views. Wengen was quiet and very peaceful at the end of May. Hearing the music of the sheep bells instead of cars, meeting a class of smiling primary school children out for an energetic morning run, feeling we had our own private scenic railway with almost instant connections, no litter...all a lesson on how things should be done. The mountains are absolutely fabulous and awe inspiring.We found walks for us all(strolls or more vertical paths)with countless quintessentially Swiss photo opportunities,flowers,chamois,choughs, old-fashioned farming methods,waterfalls and peaks. We can't imagine a more perfect holiday experience.

We wanted to rent a nice appartment for our stay during the Lauberhorn rennen.
We where 5 family/friends, and did not want a hotel.
This apartment was central to evrything, right in and out of the slopes, and a very high quality.
We loved it, and has already booke it for next year.

We do think we have the perfect arrangement here, a home that we love and can share, 'meet and greet' arrangements through the lovely Jenny from the Hotel Falken, and views of the Jungfrau and surrounding mountains that last a lifetime.

Our week in Wengen was quite phenomenal. The apartment is simply superb: sheek yet cosy, modern yet traditional. It is beutifully finished to a luxury standard with everything you could want. The owners have thought of everything to ensure a hassle-free stay. We were greeted at the train station and smoothly deposited to the apartment just a couple of minutes away. There are local maps and guides and advise on the best places to visit, internet access, and all the kitchen equipment and home comforts you could need. Best of all though must be the view!! Surely the best vista in Wengen. Waking in the morning to tea and breakfast on the stunning balcony looking at the panoramic mountain views will live long in the memory. A truely excuisit apartment that I could not recommend more highly. Go and see for yourselves!

We had a great time in Wengen. The apartment is very good situated near the ski slope and just a short walk to the 'center' of Wengen. There was enough room for the six of us. Good service with bed lining and towels available and Jenny at the Falken Hotel to help you if there's a problem.

This is a gorgeous apartment in an absolutely stunning location. It is extremely well provided for and obviously much loved and looked after by its owners. The main room is conveniently set up so that there is plenty of room, and you can cook and be involved in the action in the rest of the flat too. Wonderful comfy beds, fabulous terrace. Wengen itself is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Perfect for any age - and wonderful for a family holiday with several generations!
