This is the best of West Bay Beachfront luxury. Located in the 8 unit boutique development of Coral Sands. This corner unit is 3 bedroom, 3 bath 2nd floor ocean front unit is right on the best beach in Roatan (West Bay). You will love the way the entire ocean patio sliding glass doors completely retract so you can hear the waves and watch the Caribbean sunset at your door.
Solid concrete construction with luxurious finishes (granite counters, stainless appliances, Exotic hardwoods) make this one of the very best rental options on Roatan for up to 6 adults. Each bedroom features an ensuite bath and egyptian cotton high thread count linens.
Two large patios, oversized dining living, kitchen area give everyone plenty of space to relax when their not in the water or on the beach.
The chef equipped kitchen has an ocean view keeping even the cook in your group happy.

Rarely does a vacation exceed expectations, but our family's March 2011 visit to the Coral Sands complex on West Bay Beach in Roatan easily did just that. This beautiful 2nd floor condo is the absolute best location on one of the greatest beaches. This is an excellent 3 bedroom condo with two outdoor spaces and more than enough room. In fact, this unit is so close to the beach, we often enjoyed sitting on the deck watching our boys play on the beach below. You cannot get any closer. The location of Coral Sands affords you the opportunity to get involved as much as you want with all of the activity on West Bay Beach. Whether you want to wade the short distance to the reef to snorkel, kayak, fishing, parasail or just stroll the beach to visit one of restaurants for lunch, dinner or a cocktail, it is all right there. If you want to visit West End, water taxis are on the pier right your backdoor. Unfortunately, this condo and vacation has raised our vacation standard and will be hard to meet in the future. Of course, we can always go back.

My husband and I stayed at Coral Sands with another couple and enjoyed the unit. The view was spectacular and we had more than enough space to relax. The kitchen had everything we could've needed and the beds were comfortable. The check-in went smoothly however the unit wasn't very clean. We asked for an extra clean and it was spotless after the new cleaner finished. It was after a very busy New Year's weekend so they were understandably very busy. One other issue we had was the lack of a back-up generator. We're still not sure why we kept losing power for 2 - 7 hours at a time with no warning but we did almost every day of the 9 days we were there. This meant we had no water, air-conditioning or lights. Many of the properties on the island have generators and because of the unit is considered 'higher-end' one would expect it to have a generator. We also couldn't open any of the windows because they did not have screens and the mosquitos and sand fleas are particularly bad on the beach in Roatan. If this building had a generator, it would be almost the perfect vacation rental.

First of all, the condo was perfect for our family of 5. The location was great and of the other units in Coral Sands, this one had the best view! The condo was spacious, modern and well equipped. My husband and I had been to Roatan before and wanted to bring the kids to see experience it so we knew that West Bay is the best place to stay. We would rent this unit again.
Second of all, I can't say enough about Mike and the staff at Roatan Life. They were awesome to deal with and made everything so easy for us. They arranged our transportation to and from airport and even stopped for us to pick up groceries. We find our vacation rentals often from sites like Vrbo, Always on Vacation etc so I have a lot of experience. This management company is top notch all the way!
Lastly, we love Roatan! It's so pretty and offers a variety of activities. The people here are so nice. Be sure to visit Troy at Celeste's Island Cuisine for a Baleada and say hello to the parrots. Other restaurants not to miss - Bannana Rama (really good pizza), Smuggler's Inn (Wings and Blackened Mahi), Infiniti Bay was our favorite for happy hour and last but not least, Bite on the Beach. -

Our family has been visiting Roatan for 4 years. We used to stay at the Resorts up and down West Bay Beach until we found this condo. You couldn't ask for a better location. The place was immaculate and located in a secure gated compound right on the beach. Liz and Mike with Roatan Life Vacation Rentals were great to work with. They stocked the house with all the groceries we needed for the week and set us up with excursions. We loved being able to walk to the numerous restaurants on West Bay Beach. On other days, we did nothing but sit on the chaises, grab a snorkel run, read and relax on the best beach in the Caribbean. The sunsets are to die for. The condo also comes with a kayak that we used quite a bit. Can't go wrong with this place for families with kids or two couples.
