CanadaRoatan . What a beauty !!! Jan5th/2013 one week stay
Left on 01/24/2013 for a stay in January 2013
I can't say enough about the little piece of paradise !! The island has so much to offer, but our trip was made so much better because we stayed at this beuatiful home. There is nothing else that can be said, but I will. The house was clean, well maintained and everything you needed was there to make our stay very enjoyable. From the brand new fridge to the amazing views from the top deck. All the dishes you need to make you and your partner a very nice meal. The shower in the bathrooms were very good with plenty of hot water and pressure. If you need 3 beds they have that, the loft bedroom offers a great wake up view every morning. The house does have air but we did not need it since there was always a very nice cooling breeze coming off the ocean. Towels were provided and there were lots. The community pool provided a great place to cool off if you were not going to the beach. The owner also provided, at a very reasonable cost, unlimited Wi-fi, which came in handy for keeping in touch with our children. Garbage pick up once through the week was awesome. I have also heard back from the owner who said he was getting a brand new pinic table and chairs built for the first deck, that will only add to the experience , as a place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. If you are looking for a place to stay in Roatan look no further, get ahold of Steve or Nan, you will not be disappointed. They answered all of our questions very quickly and were always asking us if there was something else we needed to know. You cannot go wrong with this beauty !!!
Two thumbs up Thanks for letting us stay in your house Steve and Nan we will be back !!! -

San Jose, CABeautiful Intro to Roatan
Left on 06/06/2012 for a stay in February 2012
I stayed with my boyfriend and son at Dulce de Luz, and we loved it. First of all, the location was great. The Turtle Crossing area of West Bay is private and feels very safe, but it's very easy to walk to the beach (the owner told us the shortcut), and the snorkeling there is incredible. We snorkeled every day at least once, sometimes twice, as there is a path to a rock ledge from which you can just jump into the ocean as long as the sea's calm, which it was pretty much every day of our stay in February of 2012. The villa itself is lovely; we really appreciated having a kitchen where we could cook most of our meals, but it was also easy to get to good restaurants, which are very close to the beach in West Bay where we snorkeled. Whether you're trying out Roatan for the first time or if you've already fallen in love with it, this villa is a great choice for your stay.
