We recently returned from a week in this villa. The trip was just what we needed. Rest, relaxation, and a bit of adventure. The villa was clean, spacious, comfortable. The kitchen was nice for cooking a few meals. We loved the balcony and started each morning off there with a cup of tea, and ended each night there recounting the fun of the day.
The villa is in the nicest resort in the area, and easily walkable to restaurants and entertainment.
You don't have to go far to snorkel! Just get off your beach chair and walk in the water! That was a definite bonus.
Booking was easy as the owner was responsive and accommodating.
I recommend it! But bring bills smaller than 20s as no one has change there. -

We stayed in Roatan 4/18/13 thru 4/27/13. This was our 4th trip there. This time we took our grand children with us. They had such an amazing time. This room that Rich provides is by far the best we have stayed in. When we made our reservation he was right on top of it. He made sure we knew everything we needed to know before we left. The beaches are beautiful and the snorkeling is outstanding. When we go back next year I hope that we can stay here again. Thank you Rich for everything we had a wonderful vacation.

BostonAmazing week in Roatan!
Left on 04/17/2013 for a stay in April 2013
My family and I are back from a 12 day stay in this condo at Infinity Bay. The resort and condo were perfect for us. it's location was set back from the beach and all of the night activity during the big holiday week and was perfect for our 16 month old baby to sleep. It overlooks the shallow end of the huge pool. My Brother and I are Scuba Divers and have been to many parts of the world diving. Diving in Roatan was great. We dove with the Infinity Bay Divers and they did a great job during the busiest week of the year. We were able to get some good variety in the diving and had a couple of days diving in other parts of the Island (Mary's place++). The West Bay Beach area is great as is West end. We explored multiple restaurants and didn't need a reservation even during this busiest of weeks. Food was great. Vintage Pearl, Sushi in a house on the entry road and also a quick/unique lunch at a local style sandwich/soft taco place. Highly recommended ( with Parrots!) and very reasonable ($5 for lunch). Must admit Drinks at Bananarama were great.. even better with an extra shot of rum!
Back to the Condo - The pictures the owner has are very accurate. Neat, clean , modern kitchen. The owner sends a welcome visitor's guide and highly recommend the advice to stop at the grocery store on the way from the airport. Wine, Cheese, Beer, snacks, lunch food, aloe juice drink and a few easy dinner meals. The bedrooms were perfect size. We loved the 2 balconies to drink coffee in the morning and also dry various swimming clothes. The owner checked in (email) with us a couple of times -all was great.
All in all, highly recommended. High season was fun, but not overwhelming. We would also go back and enjoy the regular or low season. Sunsets were amazing.
One other note: The owner did an outstanding job assisting us to locate another unit for a dive buddy for the same time. He networked with the other owners and found a couple of solutions. Above and beyond! -

Our stay in Rich's comfortable villa made our visit to Roatan even more memorable. His villa is beautifully appointed with all the basic necesities of a home. The views from the private terrace are expectacular and the location of the villa is perfect...right outside the shallow quieter end of the pool. The Infinity Bay Resort is located in the best area of Roatan, fronting the most beautiful beach in the island. The staff was very courteous and friendly and the grounds are impeccably maintained. Rich was very accomodating in the reservation process and provided me with lots of useful information about Roatan, the villa, restaurants and activities. My daughters absolutely loved having the pool right at their door steps. Great villa for families. I highly recommend this villa to anyone planning a visit to Roatan. Thank you Rich for sharing your slice of paradise with us all.

Infinity bay is a great location to stay. Property is very nice and updated and has everything you need on it or a close walk into it. I would gladly stay at any of Rich's properties. He is very easy to deal with and offers lots of advice to someone who has never been to the area.
Only negative is the service.. seemed understaffed at times but you are on island time. -

Left on 01/13/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Just returned from spending an awesome Christmas 2012 and New Year's in this beautiful 2 bedroom condo in Roatan. The location is very good - top floor and 5 buildings back from the beach (a bit more quiet). The condo is comfortable and the Wifi worked well. Recommend going to a large grocery store to stock up the condo with some food & drinks (and Deet bug spray). Scuba Diving - We dove with the on-site Infinity Bay Divers. Their "valet" service is top-notch! They store/take care of your gear and have it set up every dive day for you. The dive masters are very good (Ricardo and adam were the main ones we dove with). The shark dive was great - felt very safe. The food at Infinity Bay is good. Celeste's (lunch & dinner) and Vintage Pearl (for a fine dinner) are not to be missed. Also recommend the Java Vine Bar & Cafe for wine & pizza! Our thanks and appreciation to the owner, Rich!

We absolutely loved Rich's condo. It was gorgeous, we miss it already.
The island was amazing from zip-lining, the iguana farm, Anthony's Key/swimming with the dolphins and of course the snorkeling every day (where we saw new fish/creatures every day). The view was beautiful, the beach beyond words, lots of fun restaurants to try on the beach within easy walking distance. We looked around at several possible destinations and are sooo very thankful we decided on Roatan. Rich's condo was perfect and we hope to go back someday. We highly recommend it!!!

Rich,
Was very friendly, flexible, informative, and understanding throughout the reservation process as well as very easy to contact before and during my stay. Furthermore, this has been my second time to have traveled to Roatan and stayed at Infinity Bay with my family as a result from being the best hotel to stay in Roatan no doubt about it offering the best ambience, service, location, and of course the best beach in Roatan. Lastly, I want to aid and recommend future travelers wanting to stay at Infinity Bay to book with Rich because of the great value you get for you money; plus, it's also cheaper to book through him than through hotel. We had a awesome time in Roatan and Infinity Bay was a great place to stay. The resort is beautiful and Rich's villa is everything he said it would be. The location is excellent. There are plenty of activities if that's your thing or you can just relax on the beautiful beach and enjoy the view. I am definitely going back, and hopefully his villa will be available for me to rent when I do. He was easy to deal with and very prompt on any questions that I had.

Left on 04/14/2012 for a stay in March 2012
The Infinity Bay Resort is the best place to stay in Roatan and Rich's villa is excellent. The view from his top floor villa patio is spectacular. It was nice to have two bedrooms each with private bathrooms for our stay. The villa is beautiful with contemporary decor (granite counter tops, natural stone tiles, etc.) The kitchen is fully equipped. We fixed breakfast in but enjoyed the many restaurants in West Bay and West End for dinners. The resort has their own beach chairs that are monitored by security personnel so you can go out snorkeling for hours and leave your belongings on the chair without a worry. The pool at Infinity Bay is also beautiful but we spent most of our time in the ocean. The ocean water is amazing with turquoise blue color and 80 degree temps. It just laps up to the white sand beach. We loved the snorkeling just off the beach! We spent hours out there looking at all the different types of fish. This was our second visit to Roatan and we will definitely be back. Rich was a pleasure to work with in booking our stay and offered lots of helpful information.

Staying at infinity bay was a perfect relaxing and invigorating vacation. There are plenty of activities for an active vacation (snorkeling, diving, walking, para sailing etc)or for relaxing around a perfect beach or pool. Everything you need is a simple walk down the beach. Rich's condo lived up to expectations. He does not over sell or embellish the description of his place. Perfect!

Just can't say enough about how wonderful this villa is! Rich obviously has pride of ownership and was totally helpful at every turn. The villa is amazing - exactly like the pictures (not always the case!). Rooms are all very spacious, kitchen well stocked (we used a lot for breakfast and lunch prep), lanai was well used by us to enjoy breakfast, lunch, drinks and amazing sunsets. The snorkeling is really the best I've even seen - and right off the beach! No need to pay to go on a snorkel boat trip. We snorkeled every day and always saw something different - tons of great reef fish, barracuda, turtles, squid, lobster and conch...incredible! Diving is also amazing - so many dive sites to choose from - and the staff at the new Infinity Bay dive center where just great. My boyfriend even did the shark dive - yikes! - if diving next to 6-9 foot reef sharks is your thing.
The staff at Infinity Bay were great, and we found the island people in general to be very nice and pleasant. No safety concerns here whatsoever! As a single female I felt perfectly fine running along the beach every morning on my own, and even walked into West Bay on my own more than once and was entirely comfortable doing so. Very nice.
This is the spot...paradise found...don't pass it by!! -

Left on 01/12/2012 for a stay in June 2011
We usually vacation at all-inclusive properties on the Mayan Riviera, so this was something new. The condo was immaculately maintained, the location was perfect, and the beach was incredible. The owner, Rich, was in close contact before and after our trip, and gave us an abundance of information-- it is clear that he takes great pride in his property. We did have to take a trip into town by taxi to buy groceries for the week, but the small grocery store nearby rounded things out, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance to keep us well-fed. Our favorites were Celeste's (the lobster baleadas were out-of-this world, and the pizza at Infinity Bay was also delicious. The kitchen in the condo was well-equipped, and we made good use of it for breakfasts, lunches, and lots of blended drinks to enjoy on the balcony. And there are two balconies-- one off the main living space, and another off the master bedroom!
The snorkeling was the best we have ever experienced-- it was easy to swim out to where the dive boats anchored (and we could do it for free!) to see sharks, turtles, rays, barracuda, and a huge variety of other colorful tropical fish and coral.
We brought our two young-adult children along, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. -

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The resort is divine. The staff is very friendly and you instantly feel at ease with them. The fact it is not a commercial island adds to its charm. There is golfing nearby, parasailing, jet skiing, and many many more activities to keep you busy. You get the feeling you have discovered a secret gem when you visit this island. The villa has every amenity you need and the villa's owner, Rich, was always in touch and quickly helped me get the WiFi working when it did not upon my arrival. I cannot wait to go back!

West Bay Beach is the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean and Infinity Bay is the place to stay.
Snorkeling paradise is right in front of resort, no need to use boats. Just swim out a little and begin to see amazing fish and coral reef.
The owner, Rich, is very helpful and informative with any questions or concerns we had while booking our trip.
The service was wonderful during check in and out, Kenton always took care of any requests I had, and always with a smile.
Food/drinks are good and reasonably priced. Carlos makes the best Pina Colada!
The villa is clean and comfy. This is our third stay and it feels like home each time we arrive. Modern kitchen and bathrooms, beds are very comfortable. All the comforts of home. We brought our laptop to stay connected. The TV is great with lots of cable channels. We love to sit out on balcony in evenings and early mornings. We saw a parrot flying around one morning, lots of hummingbirds, and these cool black birds like crows but make this funny sound.
Infinity Bay is the only place to stay. Best location, best beach, best pool, best service,... Really no need to leave the resort, it's all right there!
If you must adventure out, talk to avi (activity director). Set up a boat trip with Ray or a dolphin encounter. Avi helped us to plan a golf outing to Black Pearl, it was spectacular!

Just returned from a one week stay! I'm so happy we chose Rich's condo at Infinity Bay. He is great to work with, the location of West Bay has the best snorkeling and dive trips right off the beach, there are plenty of other resorts and restaurants to keep things interesting, the gourmet grocery is just outside the parking lot, the water taxi is in your backyard for easy pickup/transport, there is a water slide, trampoline, paddle boards, kayaks and jet skis for rent on the beach right there - great for kids large and small, and the resort is beautiful, the condo is very nice...I could go on and on. Fabulous trip! Will return as soon as possible.

We are very glad we stumbled upon this condo rental instead of booking directly through the resort. We paid a better price, and found Rich to be extremely helpful both before and even during our stay. He sent us tips and was generous in answering any questions I had.
The shuttle was very full picking us up from the airport, but we arrived at the condo within an hour of touching down. Check-in was smooth, and we found the front desk to be very responsive to us during the week when we had a few requests.
We were very pleased with the condo itself. We had two adult children with us, so we used both bedrooms and the pull-out sofabed. All of the sleeping options were comfortable. The TV reception was good, and it was great to even catch a Giants game while we were on vacation!
We spent a lot of time in the mornings and evenings out on the balcony. We weren't able to watch the sunset from there, however-- maybe the angle shifts with the seasons? Wi-fi access was spotty, but we were able to do what we wanted to with our computers. All three laptops fit in the safe, along with passports and cash.
We took a cab to Plaza Mar (large grocery) in Coxen Hole the first day, and were able to fix some meals each day, with a few other purchases from the nearby deli. The palapa restaurant at Infinity Bay had delicious pizza, seafood, and burgers. There was live entertainment a few times, and the bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient. We were able to run a tab there, and pay for it all with a credit card at the end of our stay, which was very convenient.
We didn't stray far from the resort. The snorkeling was excellent right from the beach. We saw turtles, rays, a shark, a lobster, numerous large barracuda, grouper, parrotfish, and angel fish, in a very healthy coral reef. We snorkeled twice every day, and found that the few cruise ship days didn't hamper our activities at all--- we just went out a little further to the outer reef. Incredible!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Infinity Bay, especially our rental. We were all very comfortable and my younger son thought this was the best suite he has been in.
Our host, Rich Becker, was extremely helpful. He provided a wealth of information on activities, restaurants, people to talk to about seeing whale sharks, etc. He also kept in touch with us while we were there to see if all was going OK. Infinity Bay is the best place to stay in West Bay and the best snorkeling is literally steps from the resort. We highly recommend this resort -

I have been to Roatan before, but a West End instead of newer West Bay. The accomodations in West Bay are night and day more comfortable with better beaches than West End. In West Bay, nothing compares to Infinity Bay. The modern accomodations had all the comforts of home. I can honestly say that I can't think of a time, maybe ever, where I slept so well. Unfortunately, a very unusual wet weather pattern interfered with some snorkeling days, but I would go back in a heartbeat. Btw, the more funky West End, which does have a few more choices for food, is easily reached by water taxi. I walked there twice...just 45 minutes, all along the beach. This vacation absolutely requires no car, making it that much more affordable. This is both the right destination and right resort! I understand a new golf course was built as well, so something for everyone at this point.

Left on 01/06/2011 for a stay in December 2010
We rented our villa from Rich Becker via Tripadvisor. We had not rented online before and were a bit hesitant about doing so, but with constant contact with Rich and great advise and information from him, our vacation was the most amazing we've ever had. Rich was quick to answer any questions that we'd had about the resort and the Island and sent us plenty of very useful information.
Our stay at Infinity Bay was a 5+ star experience. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful at all times. When our son's luggage was lost for 2 days by the airline, which by no means was the fault of Infinity Bay; the receoption staff are the ones who actually sent out a driver twice daily for 2 days to the airport to collect it for us so we didn't have to make the 20-minute drive.
Rich's villa was immaculate with over 1200 square feet of living space with 2 balconies overlooking the swimming pool and with a view of the ocean. On a scale of 1 to 10, the resort was always at a 10. We met so many other vacationers and owners there and enjoyed everyone's company.
The infinity pool is beautiful and it is literally only 29 steps to the white sand beach with Infinity's own beach chairs. Our son took his open water scuba diving course with a place just a 1-? minute walk down the immaculately kept beach. The diving and snorkeling is absolutely the best in the world.
We rented a car and toured the Island and never once were we worried that about our safety. We travelled into Coxen Hole and French Harbour for groceries and touring and were pleasantly surprised as to how friendly everyone is.
We loved this vacation so much, that we've decided that we're going to Infinity Bay in Roatan, Honduras for all of our annual vacations and we want to stay at Rich's villa every single time.
Thank you Rich and Infinity Bay! -

I traveled with my family (2 kids) to Roatan and stayed at Infinity Bay. The island is a great place for diving and beach activities. We are so glad we stayed at IB and will definitely return. Ib is the best choice in West Bay.
We were so happy with everything there. Great facilities, friendly staff, the best pool in Roatan, and great location. We were also impressed by the amount of pre-travel information the owner gave us before arriving. We were given restaurant recommendations, island information, excursion information, etc. This made our trip even better. We now consider the owner friend. He made sure everything was taken care of before we arrived. It was like having a travel consultant working for us. I have never had such a great experience traveling to the Caribbean. -

I swam with dolphins at the dolphin training center on anthony,s Key by water taxi. I recertified my advanced open water diving with a great group down the beach aways. Great dives down to 100ft to a ship wreck. and many more places around the island. There is a very picturesque small town by taxi at West End. A wonderful gormet restaurant on the beach near by. I also was lucky enough to have several special parties on site with bands singers and dancing. There are some very nice am Expatriots that were a lot of fun to be around. Everyone is friendly. Our time in West Bay at Infinity Bay was amazing! The resort itself is one of the best on the island, with certainly the best pool and swim-up bar...not to mention, the best snorkeling reef on the island is right out front of the resort! The rooms were immaculate and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The highlight of our trip involved a trip to Cayos Cochinos--a set of islands a short boat ride away. On the way back to Roatan, we had the wonderful surprise of seeing a whale shark come right up under the boat! Really a spectacular siting! The scuba diving on the island is also right up there with the best. Beautiful coral and lots of larger marine life--rays, turtles, lobster. Rich was a wonderful host! He answered all of our questions before the trip and gave us great recommendations. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The villa was very comfortable and clean with two nice porches. Beautiful view of pool and beach. Great snorkeling off the beach but it was crowded on the afternoons when the cruise ships were in - plan other activities then. Good diving with dive shops nearby. We found some good restaurants with a favorite on the road into the complex called Celeste's that had a good deal at happy hour for drinks and food. Enjoyed our stay and would go back to Roatan.

We loved, loved, loved the restaurant and bar staff! I would recommend this resort/room to anyone looking for something reasonably priced at a 5-star resort!

This was our second visit to Roatan and Infinity Bay. We are a family of 5 (4 yr, 6yr and 10 yr kids)and truly this place is a wonderful, relaxing vacation for everyone. You can not ask for a better beach or resort! The little ones, spend hours and hours frolicking in the beach. The bigger kids can spend hours and hours snorkeling and enjoying the corral reefs and incredible marine life right at your fingertips. The resort if beautiful with a great staff. The apt. is very comfortable, modern and has everything you need to make yourself feel at home. You can enjoy room service or get groceries from the local grocery store and cook yourself. Prices are reasonable for both the room service and grocery shopping.
There is quite a bit of things to do in the island, depending on how active you want to be - and how much money you want to spend. There is snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, bungee jumping, etc. The best part of this particular location is the beautiful beach and the access to the coral reefs, you can't get any closer than this. I have spoken to a lot people who have done a stop over from a cruise ship and have visited different islands and everyone says the same thing "This is by far my favorite stop out of all the islands, it's beautiful! the marine life is amazing and I am coming back here for a week on my next vacation". Its truly paradise found for the very few who have heard of Roatan! Rich the owner of this unit is fabulous! very helpful and a great friend to have! can't say enough great things about this place! the only bad side is that you have to leave. -

ColoradoA Perfect Family Vacation in Roatan!

This was our first trip to Roatan, but hopefully not our last. We fell in love with the island and with Infinity Bay. We are normally not "resort" people, but with two small kids (ages 2 and 6) we knew we wanted a pool, a nice sandy beach with no dangerous surf, and a two bedroom condo in a culturally interesting location. Roatan and Infinity Bay fit our needs and more, and we are grateful to Rich for all of the information and communication we received from him prior to our trip. We felt as well informed as we were excited before the trip.
The condos themselves were gorgeous, very modern, comfortable, and lovely, with nice big balconies perfect for a late night game of cards and a couple of cold local beers (Salva Vida) or Monkey La Las (the island's signature drink). The condo is on the third floor (with an elevator), and set back just far enough from the beach so that our kids could sleep perfectly at nap time and at night. We have nothing but superlatives for the staff at Infinity Bay---professional and friendly and all wonderful with children. It was a delight to be there and so many of the staff took the time to talk with us or the kids, to make suggestions and arrangements for us, and overall made a special place even more special.
The pool was simply amazing as was the beautiful beach, walk right in to snorkel; food was decent, and kitchen perfect for cooking local seafood yourselves. Great (though not inexpensive) restaurants nearby in West Bay and a short (and fun!) boat ride away in West End. So much to do: dolphins, snorkeling, scuba, exploring, swimming, we all loved it.
Also: we had been concerned about sand fleas and mosquitoes prior to the trip, especially since my son and husband are mosquito magnets. Well, between the four of us we had no more than ten bites. Wasn't an issue at all for us.
What else? We are still just aglow from our vacation and all wish we were back there right now. -

Los Gatos, CATHE BEST VACATION WE EVER HAD !!

We had heard of the Bay Islands of Honduras over the years but had always chosen more developed islands like grand cayman, aruba, cozumel, belize, st maartin, turks & caicos, jamaica and tahiti.
I found a villa to rent at Infinity Bay Beach Resort from Rich Becker. Rich gave me all kinds of information on the island, the resort and his villa. We decided to give it a shot and are soooo happy we did. The tropical hills, the sprawling white sand beach, the clear blue waters and the spectacular diving/snorkeling just 30 yds off the beach right in front of the resort. The resort itself is new and the grounds are beautiful with an infinity pool as the center piece. We had great food/drinks at the Infinity Bay palapa bar right on the beach and it should be mentioned at very reasonable prices. We never needed transportation because eveything was within walking distance: other restaurants, resorts and shopping. Water taxis came up to the resort dock and for $3.00 took us to and from the funky town of West End, a 10 min. boat ride, for more restaurants, bars and shopping.
Our villa was on the 3rd floor with a great view of the caribbean and beautiful sunsets right off the patio. The funishings were high grade with a full kitchen with stainless steel appilances, black granite countertops and handcrafted wood working. The bedrooms had one king and one queen size bed and were very high quality and comfortable. There was even a smaller patio off the master bedroom.
We met some of the nicest people at the resort, not only the courteous and responsive staff but also the other guests.
In summary, we can't say enough about Infinity Bay.
It's noteworthy to mention that due to the convenience and reasonableness of everything that when we looked at pocket book at the end of the trip we found that we had a 5 star vacation at a 3 star price. The airfare was a little higher, $750, but more than offset by the other savings.

Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, CanadaFantastic stay in Rich Beckers Condo #1405 at Infinity Bay Resor
Left on 04/01/2010 for a stay in February 2010
My wife and I had been to Roatan in the winter of 2008 for 2 weeks and loved the island. When we decided to return in 2010 we wanted to rent our own place. Most all inclusive's include a 350 sq' room complete with a tiny fridge that is suppose to be home for 2 weeks. We wanted something much larger this time.
I checked most locations in the West Bay area and decided on Infinity Bay. We were able to locate an owner, Rich Becker in 1405, who agreed to rent his place to us. We were able to save almost half in rent by dealing directly with the owner.
The condo we rented was a 1200+ sq' 2 bdrm & 2 bathroom place. It had a full size kitchen complete with stainless appliances, dishwasher and garburator. It also had 2 balconies, one off the living room and the other off the m/bdrm. It had a great view of the pool and ocean.
The pool is an actual infinity pool. It was huge and well kept. The beach bar was great. Most of the owners & tenants gather there everyday for meals and drinks. We loved their restaurant food.
Having our own place complete with kitchen gave us the option to cook some meals and stay in or go out to a local establishment either at Infinity Bay or to another one along the beach.
The resort still has to build their main entrance building which will have the front desk, meeting rooms and a gym. No gym is what we missed the most.
The beach is clean with fine white sand. The diving and snorkling right off Infinity Bay is unbelievable.
We rented a vehicle a few times to site see and buy groceries. What we love about Roatan is we have always felt safe being out on our own. I have driven many miles around the island and have never had a problem. Most other locations we have been to like Jamaica, Mexico and the Dominican we have never ventured off the resorts unless we were withn a group going on a tour of some sort.
We give not only Infinity Bay five stars but also the island of Roatan.

We stayed at Infinity Bay Spa and Beach Resort March 2010 for 12 days. During that time we experienced a gorgeous beach, beautiful weather, out of this world snorkeling, and friendly people like we have never experienced on a tropical vacation before. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the third floor in building 14. We had a wonderful view of the pool area from both the master bedroom and living room. The unit was immaculately clean, beautifully appointed and comfortable. The walls seemed to be quite thick as we didn't hear our neighbors when our windows were shut. The Palapa restaurant had nice selection of moderately priced food which was all very good. There really wasn't any nightlife at the resort and it isn't a spring break party resort (which we liked) but there was always Bananarama which had firedancers and crab races on Sunday nights, and live music on and off. You can also take a taxi to West End which does have other clubs. As for the owner which we rented from-Rich was wonderful! From the time I contacted him to rent the unit, he was helpful and friendly. We have been several places in Mexico and the Caribbean but this was our first time to Roatan. I contacted him a couple times to ask questions about the island, and the resort and he welcomed the questions and took time to make me feel like we were, indeed making an excellent choice.
