The rental rate includes a maid for 5 days a week that shall do the laundry for the guests. All linen, towels are included. The electricity is included, less the heating for the spa pool. The pool is cleaned 4 days a week by the full time maintenance person. the use of the back up generator is included in the cost. the Wireless internet is free of charge as local phone calls. There is a 7% goverment hotel Tax that has to be added to the rental fee.And there is a 3% service charge that goes to the staff.

When we arrived at the house after a very long journey from London it was dark. Lynn (the house manager) showed us all around the house and everything was very stylish and well laid out. However, we knew the best was yet to come and when we woke up the following morning and saw the views we simply couldn't believe it!
The house is kitted out with everything you need and more. All rooms are well kept and have all the amenities you need. Listening to the wildlife all around you as you drop off to sleep was a highlight for me. Cute little lizards run (and do press-ups) around the grounds & butterflies float around the property.
Lynn popped by during our 10 day stay to see us a few times and gave us some fabulous tips on things to do and see on the stunning island of Tortola. During our trip we visited some amazing beaches (with hardly anybody else on them). Great restaurants, including The Dove which we thoroughly recommend. We also went to the Marina and hired a catamaran out one day, two cool fellas took us out to visit some other islands - all equally as stunning as the next. Lunch on Cooper Island was outstanding.
Tingalayo is jaw droppingly beautiful and there is only one downside...when you have to leave! -

We stayed at Tingalayo just before Christmas in 2012 and it really was by far the best holiday I've ever had. There were ten in our group, all friends and we felt the house and the island of Tortola was perfect for us and our age which ranged from 29-38. When we arrived at Tingalayo we were amazed by the views which quite frankly must be some of the best views in the world. The house is spacious but has a cosy and included feel in the living areas which makes it a perfect place for a group of friends or families. There are so many of those living spots within the house grounds that you could literally choose somewhere different to eat and sit as a group and socialize every night - all have stunning views of the British and us virgin islands.
The house staff made our stay very comfortable from fresh sheets on the (huge & comfortable) beds and laundry being done to Lynn, the house manager providing some excellent recommendations on where to eat and drink and spend our time as a group. She recommended some some great beaches and put us in touch with a diving company which took us on an unforgettable dive among the islands.
Tingalayo is a very special place and I can't wait to plan my next trip back. -

I organized a one week trip to Tortola for a group of 14 friends and we had an absolutely unbeatable time thanks to Tingalayo. After 7 days of waking up to the best views on the island, we still couldn't get over how beautiful it was up there. We were never bored and filled our week by relaxing by the infinity pool, reading on the numerous wooden decks, snacking/eating at the numerous outdoor dining areas around the property, doing yoga by the pool, and getting massages while gazing at the ocean views.
It's a 20 minute drive to Road Town and a 10 minute drive to West End marina/ferry. The road up to the house is steep and windy and taxi drivers will not know how to get there so it is absolutely necessary to rent an SUV while you're there. Lynn (the house manager) does have taxi contacts however and we used 2 of them for airport rides and for going into town for dinner and drinking one night.
But...with a villa as nice as Tingalayo (and with a fabulous kitchen), we decided it was pretty much unnecessary to leave. You can order groceries online and they are delivered right to the kitchen - we had wonderful Bbqs every night!
This villa is also perfect for multiple couples/families since there is a guest cottage, a master cottage, and a main house. The place is huge so you can always find a quiet, private space to sit and read or nap.

The most amazing ocean holiday place we ever been to!
Tortola island is quite big so you can have everything – lonely beaches, hotel and beach bars, local restaurants, shops etc… One can make short trips to surrounding islands by small jet or ferry.
The house itself is located peacefully on a hill 30 minutes drive from the capital town. It offers all conveniences and its stylish interior satisfies even the most design-savvy public.
Beautiful private pool and terrace offer a fantastic view over the ocean and neighbouring "virgin islands".
At the bottom of the hill there is a supermarket which is very practical.
Lonely, magazine-cover-like beaches for swimming or/and surfing are all within 10 to 40 minutes drive.
For us it is the ULTIMATE place for romantic trips, honeymoons or just burn-out cures!

The house must have the best view on Tortola its simply breathtaking.
We loved the property ,beautifully furnished with a cook's kitchen, it is so quiet and peacefull up there. A cool house in more ways than one. The staff were very helpfull and arranged for spa treatments at the house.
On the downside the road to the house was steep and single track - thank goodness we had a 4 wheel drive vehicle - but you would expect that to get to the "top of the world".
We cant wait to go again.

this is a large property perched almost at the highest point of tortola, facing
west. the view, as a result, was nothing short of gobsmacking, and the sunsets
went well beyond that. i could have sat on that deck for weeks and never have
seen the same scene twice - sailboats, whales, clouds, storms, the changing
colours of the sea. it was magnificent, there really is no other word for it.
i liked the way the houses were independent: we all had our own kitchens,
decks (all great views), gardens and pools but gathered at the main house
because it had the biggest kitchen, biggest dining and a big pool to die for.
everything worked just fine, lots of fridge space, good sound system, path
lighting, nice beds, yaddayadda. only negative was the road up but that's
typically BVI. my husband and i stayed on for a couple of days to dive down to
the RMS Rhone, a british mail ship that went down in the late 1800s, and it
was honestly the best dive i have ever done. it was a fantastic holiday, just the
right mix of relaxing and sporty, i'd do it again in a flash.
