Villas del Playa are custom luxury villas located directly on the beautiful sandy beaches of West End. Each villa offers an unobstructed 180 degree view overlooking the turquoise Caribbean seas and breathtaking sunsets.

Villas del Playa are the only villas located directly on the beach in the quiet area of West End but just a few minutes walk to the premier area of West End with shopping, restaurants, bars, nightlife, taxi stand, coffee shops, mini grocery stores, and dive shops all right there. You do not need a rental car although they are available. We are located right in front of a few of the island's most famous dive spots like the blue channel and turtle crossing.

Water taxis will pick you up at our dock and take you to the beautiful West Bay beach.

We have 2 bedroom/2 bathroom 1350 sq ft villa that sleeps 6, 3 bedroom/3 bathroom 1900 sq ft villa that sleeps 8, 3 bedroom/3 bathroom penthouse 1900 sq ft villa that sleeps plus a1900 sq ft rooftop oasis complete with and 10’x 10' private pool, rinse off shower, restroom, stainless kitchen/grill/bar under a beautiful palapa surrounded by gorgeous blue tempered glass so when you are lounging, you have an unobstructed view in all directions. All villas come fully equipped with central air, purified water, hardwood cabinets, tile floors, free wi-fi, cable TV, spacious living area with a flat screen TV, and adjacent dining area suitable for your entire party. Kitchens include stainless steel equipped appliances, granite counter tops and all the necessities for gourmet cooking with full size refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker. All units have a laundry area with full size washer and dryer. Bedrooms are furnished in a Caribbean style. A purified water system allows for easy access to ice and drinking water. The rooftop oasis offers the best views available from both the balconies and the rooftop. Rooftop views of hilltops, mango treetops and panoramic views of the island and long sandy beaches. There is an amazing view of the sunset on the water every night that you can view from the master bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining area, but you should see it from the rooftop oasis, or even better from the pool on the rooftop while barbecuing.

Beachfront location, all VDP guests have at their access free usage of the 2 kayaks we have with clear bottoms that each hold 2 people, each villa receives a loaner cell phone, airport transfers (with weekly rentals), housekeeping is available, water taxi service at the Villas del Playa dock to the beautiful west bay beach, paddle boards available for rent on the beach for our guests, pre-arrival grocery shopping for a small fee, concierge/activities/transportation coordinator, complimentary fresh island fruit plate in each villa upon arrival, welcome kit in each villa, snorkel tours, and much more!Read more

We are located halfway between Rickey's Barefeet Bar and Luna Beach on the beach just 5 minutes walk outside of West End. Snorkeling, diving, swimming right out side the door. Great dining options just a short walk away. There is no better location in West End!!!!

Holiday Rates apply to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's - Min. 1 week rental for $4,100.

  Roatan is known as a diving and snorkelling destination and the Villa del Playa condos provided a great location of this. The condo comes with the use of two kayaks which allow for easy access to the reef and the Blue Channel, providing awesome snorkelling opportunities. Everything is within walking distance and is far enough away from the bars to ensure a quiet evening. We rented the penthouse suite and enjoyed our stay. The building is new and made from concrete and feels very solid. Tropical storm Harvey blew in and we could barely hear the wind against the building. The a/C worked great with the only problem being the electrical grid on Roatan is somewhat unreliable and goes out from time to time. ( it was a minor inconvenience and added to the vacation adventure)
  
  Ron and Sue-Ann tried their best to ensure we were happy. Maintenance for the pool was done on a daily basis. The caretaker/ watchman was very friendly and easy to get along with and worked hard to keep the condo looking good.
  
  The only areas for improvement would be:
  Kitchen supplies are lacking. Not enough glasses, no cutting board, no dish cloths (Sue-Ann provided some from her own home) Juice jugs, working can opener. For the price of the Condo, dishwasher soap should be provided.
  Penthouse pool- the plumbing stack for the building is too close to the pool. If the wind comes from the east the sewer smell ruins the mood in the pool.
  Insect control, over a 14 night stay we had 4 cockroach encounters. It is the tropics so I guess they can be expected from time to time.
