The Staggerin' Inn is a very comfortable fully equipped home on the 18th green on the West Glacier Golf Course and across the street from the river access at West Glacier. Excellent central location to experience Glacier National Park in summer or winter. The home is about 2 minutes from the park gates and the beginning of the beautiful "Going to the Sun" highway. Also - easy access to the Flathead valley lakes, golf, summer recreation as well as skiing the Big Mountain in the winter or cross country skiing in Glacier!

The good points: It is on the 18th green of the golf course. It rained while we were there, but there were no leaks evident, and the baseboard heaters worked. It was roomy for the two of us, but with one small bathroom with a small shower, it might not be right for more than a family. They had satellite for the very small TV, and Wi-Fi was available, along with a music system. Washer and dryer in the master bedroom.
The bad points: If the owner paid someone to clean, they were ripped off. If they cleaned it themselves, they should have hired a professional. If they didn't clean it at all, shame on them, and shame on them for charging us to clean it after we left. It appears that nothing in the house has been replaced in years! The furnishings were dirty, old and uncomfortable. The towels in the bathroom were threadbare. The floors were dirty. There were live bugs in the carpet. The toilet seat was a padded toilet seat with visible, uncomfortable cracks! The bed in the master bedroom was old, and about 12" off the floor. The pillows were flat. There was one very small TV in the living room. There were hornets nests on the side of the house. The oven was filthy...we wouldn't put anything in it for fear it would catch on fire. There was no battery in the smoke detector. -

Location, location, location! We had one of our best vacations and our accomadations played a big part. This home is about five minutes from Glacier National Park gate, golf course in the back yard with the Flathead River across the street. West Glacier Village has a great resturant, grocery store and gift shop.
I would not think of staying anywhere else when we return.
We ate dinner outside on the deck several evenings - deer came by one evening on the golf course. -

This property couldn't be more convenient to Glacier National Park, which was our destination for this week. The home was comfortable and tidy. We would definitely recommend this property.
