  The location was excellent and on a very quiet street but less than 5 minutes walk to restaurants/shops on Santa Monica Boulevard and 7-8 mins walk to Melrose Drive. Peter (the manager/owner) was very helpful but not imposing. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed was comfortable. Overall the apartment is perfect for a single or couple on vacation (or work).

I would make 1 minor clarification: you must have a specific location on Melrose in mind, as one of the great things about the property is that Santa Monica Blvd. is just 1 block (3-4 minutes) north, and Melrose Ave is just 1 block (3-4 minutes) south.

  The place is really nice - just like your own little appartment, very clean, nice little kitchen with everything you need, modern and stylish.
  
  Location is great, maybe a 5 min walk to the main road where you can get buses to everywhere you'll need to go in Hollywood and beyond.
  
  Peter is extremely helpful if you need him. It's also a really nice quiet residential area but close enough to cafes etc.
