We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The cabin was clean and inviting and the quintessential wood burning fireplace will warm your heart as well as your feet when running back inside from the hot tub!

We had a wonderful stay at Cabin Fever. It was beautiful. We loved the hot tub! We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch and enjoyed roasting hotdogs and marshmellows down at the firepit. Our only complaint was that the river was much farther then we were told. We were told we were going to be "on" the river. The price, beautiful location and cleanliness of the cabin with it's hot tub on the back porch made everything ok.

My fiance and I have stayed in this cabin four different times. We love the quiet atmosphere and hot tub on the back deck. We normally hike at Mt. Jefferson when we visit.
As far as the cabin goes, the decorations are adorable, and the amenities are accommodating for the space. The shower is a bit small, but it fits the cabin. We love the CD player for music while we cook, and we made a fire in the firepit for the first time this visit.
The one reason I didn't put "excellent" for the overall rental rating is because I feel that after staying this many times, we would be waived from fees like the application fee, etc. My information is definitely in the computer by now, so it's unfortunate that I have to keep paying it. We would stay more nights if we didn't have to pay all of the feeds. I understand tax and rental fee, which is inevitable, but some of the other fees seem redundant and unnecessary for repeating guests. -

It was very nice and clean. I just wish I would have picked a larger cabin. The only drawback to the cabin were the steps going up to the loft. They were very hard to go up and down. Other than that, we enjoyed it very much.

What a great place to stay. All the comforts of home plus a hot tub and grill on the back porch. Short walk to the New River.
1 bedroom downstairs, loft upstairs with a full bed and two twin beds. We could also take our dog.
I had a great time and would stay again. -

We loved this little cabin. We woke up to 50% mornings and 70% days. Fishing was excellent with the river right down the path from your back porch. We are staying again in July and look forward to more of the same. The service from Carolina Mtn. Properties was superb.

Hot tub did not work (and I actually switched my cabin choice so that I would have a WORKING hottub) and the cable remote was missing so we had ONE channel to watch to the entire weekend. (I love "You've Got Mail" as much as the next person, but 5 times in a row was a bit much.) I called Carolina Mountain Properties about both of these complaints and never heard back, nor received an apology from them.
The shower is tiny, but for 2 people the cabin as a whole was pretty cozy. Definitely make sure your vehicle is 4WD when its snowing.
