The only problems we had were:
- internet didn't work and no password provided
- there were only 3 bedrooms plus a basement room with 5 twin beds so we had to put an air mattress in the basement playroom which was very cold!

Myself and 2 other adults took my daughter and 4 of her friends to this cabin for her 15th birthday. This place was perfect!!! Everyone had their own space. Very well kept, very well decorated. The downstairs was perfect for her and her friends to sleep and enjoy the hottub and pool table. The view was beautiful!! I am hoping to get this cabin again for her 16th birthday!

My husband and I recently rented this house as a getaway for some of our closest family and friends, and it did not disappoint! Everyone was extremely pleased with the house and the cleanliness and comfort. While it was a little too cold to relax outside on the porch, the view was absolutely beautiful. All the amenities offered were great- the pool table, the hot tub, the big screen TV- we were especially pleased with the dog run. We did have two dogs traveling with us, and they loved running around the fenced in area. We did not expect it to be as large as it was, so that was a great bonus. We definitely want to rent this house again, maybe in the fall so that we may be able to enjoy the beautiful view from the porch. Thank you Carolina Mountain Properties!!!

This is not a 5 bedroom house!! It has 3 comfortable bedrooms, 1 bedroom in the basement where it is freezing that has a terrible double bed mattress and 2 sets of bunks we had planned to put our grandchildren in. It was so cold, my husband and I slept there so the other 10 of us could be semi comfortable. It turns out that the furnace downstairs had not been turned on this year and it required a serviceman to turn on the gas. Our first of 4 nights was horrible until that was turned on. They must have counted the sleeper soafer in the loft upstairs as the 5th bedroom because we never found the missing 5th bedroom. The heat is hot upstairs, mediocre downstairs as long as you aren't near the doors with no weather stripping where the wind blows in. The gas logs are for decoration because no heat was detected, and it was extremely cold while we were there. For the first time ever, we took our whole family to the mountains to have the idealic family Christmas. The steep steps were very narrow and dangerous. One of our grandchildren fell all the way down so beware of taking small children as you will spend all of your time chasing them. Unfortunately, we had an 18 mo. old, a 3 yr. old, and a 5 year old, so we never rested because we had to watch them so carefully. The house is beautiful; the view is magnificent. However, if you want to be comfortable, go to a motel. We left after 3 nights.

This rental cabin was everything they said and more. The house was beautiful, super clean, and had everything we needed for 16 people. The view was simply breathtaking! It was just a short drive to shopping and grocery stores. Our only complaint was having to take our own trash to the dumpster. Hopefully we can make it back in the summer for another Rest Assured weekend. We will definitely use Carolina Mountain Properties again.

The home was great, though there are some issues. Bunk beds were not safe, no room in kitchen for food and supplies,no clothes closet in bedroom on main floor.Linens were stained and worn. Ceiling fans needed to be dusted. The grandchildren loved the fact that it snowed, but the long walk up to the home was a killer. The roads were not plowed the first 24 hours. The driveway never was plowed. Major storm caused power failure so our trip was cut short.We all felt management could have done more for us. We will not use this company again. The views are amazing.

A great, well equipped home. This will be our 3rd year and this year we will have 10 people, 6 adults and 4 children. The view is lovely. The parking is a little scarry but doable with three large cars/vans. It is one of the few homes to have a table big enough to seat all that it can sleep. We are all looking forward to our stay.
We had a mouse last year that we didn't feel the rental company took the correct actions to dispose of. -

I stayed at the cabin with a couple of friends and we had a great 3-day weekend. The views from the back deck and the hot tub are beautiful. The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and pots/pans. The open floor plan made it easy for the group to spend time together.
