We (four 50 year old ladies)just returned from spending several nights at Casa Della Rosa. The property was not what I expected. On the positive side - it is very well located. The listing indicates 5 bathrooms. In fact there are 3 full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. There are four bedrooms upstairs, and two full bathrooms upstairs- so we had to share bathrooms which I did not anticipate. The bathrooms are very,very dated. The house needs a deep cleaning from top to bottom. The house would be fine for young children- you would not have to worry about breaking anything. The kitchen was nice- much more current than the rest of the house.There are no shades on any of the bedroom windows - only clear gauzy sheers. There is no issue from a privacy perspective - but the sun will wake you up in the morning. The house is on a corner- and gets a lot of traffic driving by on Cocoanut street. There were 4 beach chairs - two were brand new and two were old and rusty. We did not find an umbrella for the beach. It is only a short walk to the beach (5 minutes)- but bear in mind there is no bathroom etc- so you will have to walk home should the need arise.

So happy to find this house! It has a great location in a very nice neighbourhood. Easy to walk (bicycle) to everything. We felt at "home" right away. The house is very spacious so we did not feel like we were living "on top" of each other. The house is also very well equipped with a very nice kitchen. The private beach is beautiful and the bicycles were very convenient and used all the time. Dr. Joe the owner is very easy to work with. We would love to come back soon. -

Our son is working in the Palm Beach area and could not get away. Since he could not go on a vacation with us, we decided to take the vacation to him. My wife, other son, daughter in law, and myself headed to Palm Beach expecting to enjoy some relaxation time together. What a great time we had, and what a lovely place to stay while we were there. Dr Joe was great to deal with and even had a surprise bottle of wine waiting in the unit on our arrival. We immediately felt at home in this cozy house. The layout is great and furnished very well, and the house was immediately inviting. One great benefit was Dr Joe working with us prior to our arrival to orient us and give us leads on places to go and things to do (including the best bet on restaurants). The house is very well located with a two block walk east to the beach, and only about a half block west to the river where a tree lined pathway leading north and south exists. When it came time to leave our main regret was not being able to meet Dr Joe due to both our schedules. An issue we hope to rectify next year, as we intend to return.

Everytime I spoke with you you ALWAYS had an upbeat HAPPY attitude more than any other guest I have ever had what a delight to email you or speak with you. I always try my best to have my guests well informed(restaurants, shopping, activities etc) prior to arriving so that they do not waste their precious time getting stressed out about where to go or where things are, where to find a special place like a dive shop or musuem etc. Vacations are a time to kick back , relax and enjoy and i am so happy that you and your family did just that. My nine girlfriend's and I absolutely loved the house- all ten of us fit perfectly and could even all eat at the dining room table. The house is just a few blocks from downtown and the grocery store so renting a car isnt a necessity. Can't wait to go back and stay again!

When we checked in, we were welcomed by a bottle of wine and a starter kit of waters, sodas, coffee etc! The house was charming and was located in a convenient location - easy walk to Worth ave and other shops/restaurants as well as the beach. The beach was beautiful - private access, so it was not crowded either! We had a great stay...would love to stay here again!

Came down to Palm Beach for a Fitness competition in april 2012 with several other people. The house was just what we needed to stay rested and have a little fun during our visit. The kitchen was great with lots of space for entertainment. We felt very central to all of the spots we had to visit in Palm and West Palm. The house was very clean. The owner even offered all of us flip flops just in case we forgot.

We supply everything for our private gated beach even flip flops that are a gift to take home, so you do not have to worry about packing beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach rafts or toys we supply it all. Yes the home is the BEST location it is within walking distance to everything restaurants, sightseeing, beach, nightclubs, tennis and golf to mention a few and for shopping you can walk to world famous Worth Ave or Cityplace. We enjoyed staying at the house for a family wedding. The house is large and we never felt on top of each other with the numerous bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is modern and spacious.
Location was a plus, a short walk to the bike trail and the shopping areas. We used the two bikes everyday. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants to be close to town.

we stayed for week and loved it - the kitchen (with outdoor gas grill) was perfect and the layout was fantastic for two families with kids plus the grandparents. the beach is gorgeous, with tons of shells to be collected and a great sandbar - and the house has beach toys and boogie boards. and the dining room was perfect for big family dinners!

We rented this house to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. It was absolutely perfect. 10 adults slept very comfortably. The house had unquestionably everything you could possibly need. It was spacious, clean, well laid out and central to everything. The access to the beach was simple and the neighborhood walk was just gorgeous. The owner was a delight to deal with- helpful, easy to reach and full of local area advice. We will visit Casa Della Rosa again, this house is a gem!

We recently had a last minute stay at the beautiful "Casa Della Rosa". The Yacht that we all work full time on and live on, had a maintenance period which involved it being lifted out of the water, and we could not live aboard for a ten day period. From the first call that I had with Dr Jo, we were made to feel beyond welcome. This included a visit by us to the property to view it first. This was organised with the mimimum fuss with very short notice. We also very much thank Dr Jo for the very kind gesture of the wine left in the house for us. We enjoyed this very much. Thank you for everything Dr Jo. We will highly recommend you to other Yacht Crew in the future,and hope that can re visit in the future.

This home is beautiful and luxurious. It is a short walk to the beach one way and then half a block to the intracoastal. We had peaceful strolls along the shore. Later we were able to eat at nearby restaurants on Worth avenue and elsewhere in Palm Beach. The owner made us feel comfortable and safe. We had maid service if we wanted and bikes to ride around town. He provided us with a list of nearby attractions for the children. At night we were able to sit on the second floor balcony and sip our wine, relaxing while the children slept. We recommend a wonderful stay in a fantastic home.

My girlfriends and I are already planning our trip to return to Casa Della Rosa next year for our annual get together!! We had a blast! The home is perfect for any type of group. I am going to take my parents to the "Casa" this summer. The excellent retaurants are within walking distance. No need for a car or cab! They even have dancing. We would start our day by strolling to the Breakers via the bike trail for coffee and bagels, then hit the beach for a day in the sunshine. The weather was beautiful and we cant wait to go back. I thank Dr. Joe for making this year the best "girls get together" yet! Thanks for the chilled wine waiting for us upon our arrival!

Our stay at Casa Bella was the Best! Everything was perfect-from the location to all of the sweet extras Dr. Joe puts into his lovely rental. The decor is island chic with a lot of romantic touches throughout! Including the fireplace! The Intracoastal Waterway and the atlantic Ocean are a short stroll away. There is the most beautiful bike trail that runs along the waterway for walking, running or taking a bike ride-all the way to the end of the Island. Only a couple of miles and well worth the ride! It was like being at our home , yet on vacation! We can't wait to return. We are for spring break!! Thank you Dr. Joe!!!

We had the best time ever. The Welome feeling you get when you enter this home makes you relax immediately and know we made the right choice for our stay in palm beach Florida. When we arrived there was a bottle wine waiting for us. This home was spacious yet cozy and comfortable, close to everything you would want. We relaxed at the private beach and went shopping at city place and worth avenue (an amazing shopping experience), we dined at some exceptional restaurants,then the Kravis center for unbelievable entertainment, the serene atmosphere was worth every minute of our stay. We truly enjoyed this home!

This house has a great location. it's walking distance to Worth ave, the inner-coastal and the beach. It's a few minutes from the 4 arts center. It is large with lots of space for a big party. The kitchen is updated and the dining room is large. The owner is very responsive and helped us out during our week stay.
