El Cortijo is situated in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood and walking distance to the shores of Lake Worth which separates West Palm Beach and the island of Palm Beach.

The home is charming and very comfortable. Love the decorations. We went to West Palm for the St. Louis Cardinals Spring Training. We were 20 minutes away from Roger Dean Stadium where the Cardinals play. Lee and David provided a wonderful booklet of restaurants, points of interest, shopping, etc. Although we had visited the area several time prior to this visit, the booklet was still invaluable. What a personal touch!! The City Diner, which is within walking distance was a fun place and the food (especially the corned beef hash) was delicious. The pool and terrace area were so private and relaxing. Lee and David keep a wonderful rental and certainly add a personal touch - I will miss their e-mails. I feel like I know them both. I would certainly recommend the property and home to return.

The location of this beautiful home was perfect for us. Situated just 5 short driving minutes from the airport meant we didn't spend time getting to the house once we landed at West Palm airport. This also meant that we didn't have to awaken in the small hours of the morning prior to departure to make our early morning flight.
Our hosts David and Lee went above and beyond to ensure our trip was complete. Aside from the excellent brochure they composed and supplied to us online they also made themselves available for any questions we may have had via telephone.
Because we were new to the area we most appreciated the directions they gave us for restaurants, shopping and the ocean. This saved an enormous amount of time we might otherwise have wasted during our short week seeking these locations. Additionally we may have missed some of the highlights without their help which would have been a shame considering the sites we saw.
The house was beautifully designed and very comfortable to be in. As someone who enjoys cooking, the kitchen was a dream and hosted everything (and more) than I needed. I am even going to borrow some of their design ideas for my own home. :)
The master bedroom was my favorite because it was separate from the rest of the home and had it's own double french doors on to the pool area. Laying in bed and being able to fall to sleep while looking at the pool and gardens is something I won't soon forget. I would also like to comment on how spacious the master bathroom was.
Most impressive was the cleanliness of the entire home which is most important to me.
Thank you for an outstanding time away and we will return sooner than later.

I stayed in this beautiful paradise for 1 wk. Initially I chose this home for the proximity to the ocean. I was so elated with the landscaping and the salt water pool that I only visited the ocean once during my stay. From the moment I entered this beautifully decorated home I felt so comfortable that I didn't want to leave. The interior of the home was impeccable and the kitchen had everything (and more) that anyone could ask for.Vacation time is precious to me and this home helped make the perfect vacation. Thank you David and Lee for sharing your little gem.
