Silver Bay, MN (Lake Superior's North Shore)Totally Great Place with the Best Host in W. Palm beach!
Left on 03/21/2013 for a stay in February 2013
If you fancy yourself a "foodie", love staying in fun, well done eclectic accommodations, with a marvelous, thoughtful host, Val's "Rising Sun Cottage" is for you! One of three cottages on a lovely, well maintained "campus", we thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay. Beautiful relaxing pool area, lovely Japanese style gardens, and well done cottage will meet and exceed your needs! 10 of the best (Tripadvisor,Zagat,Urban Spoon)W. Palm Beach restaurants w/in 5-10 minutes . . .some within walking distance . . .You can't really ask for more!
Val was always attentive, but never intrusive, answered all our questions, and was very knowledgeable about the area . . . hot tub, bikes and much more upon request . . . If we are back in the area, we'll surely try to stay again . . . it was a memorable and most enjoyable stay!

Left on 03/03/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We enjoyed our stay in the Rising Sun. The cottage is well done and is located on a very attractive compound with three other units. Location although not in downtown West Palm Beach is good with many of the areas top ten bistro type restaurants less than 10 minutes away. The neighborhood is not so great but the compound's isolation offsets that impact.

I stayed here with my husband and 10 month old. The whole house was done so beautifully and we loved the hot tub, pool, grill and gardens right out back. Val was very helpful and responsive. Not much need to go anywhere else, except for short drives to the beach

Val is an extremely nice man who take care of his properties and make sure his clients are well and enjoy their stay. It has been pleasant staying at this beautiful cottage which is very well located, minutes to City Place, downtown WPB! We also enjoyed the heated pool on the property and of course the beaches closed by!

Wow, what a visual achievement! The tasteful and acute attention to detail really dazzles. From the stone garden to the fountain and Japanese awnings, the world of asian elegance definitely captures and astounds your attention. This was the most radiantly adorned home of authentic Japanese flare I've ever enjoyed in the United States or Europe. The location also is nicely hidden yet conveniently close to all the major spots in West Palm Beach as well as the island and it's beautiful beach. No complaints, only amazement!

Our family travels a lot and we are always looking for new places. This cottage and perfectly maintained property makes you feel at home. Each interior and exterior detail makes you feel like you are in the designer's boutique. It is a wonderful place to stay as a family with kids or with your friends. It is also a great place to rent for a private party. My family will visit Florida more often now it our last stay was a great reason for it.
