The retreat sits creek side on the gold medal Gore creek surrounded by trees. It is conveniently located 5 mns walk from the Town of Vail free bus. Parking in Vail during ski season is 20/day.The free town bus gets you to Lionshead gondola in 15mns. There are 25 steps to your front door, depending on who your are it will keep you in shape! or it could be a challenge..... There is free off street parking, wireless internet access. We are in west Vail in intermountain conviently close to restaurants, super market, bike path and bus stop, yet our neighborhood is off the beaten path. There is off street parking. We are located 5mns from the slopes by car, 15mns by the free town bus.we are creekside which is perfect to cool off in the summer. closest airport : Eagle Airport 45mns

We spent 4 nights here during our vacation. When we arrived (we rented car out of denver) Nathalie greeted us at the door with a smile. She gave us a tour of our accomodations which were nothing short of exactly what we had hoped for after reading the reviews.
The apartment is on the lower level of her house. There were two bedrooms, we used one,the other stayed locked. The kitchen was well appointed with all the creature comforts of home. Full szed stove, micro, fridge, and dishwasher. Granite countertops and seating for four at the bar on open side of the dining area. There was also a dining table for four.
In addition, there was a couch, chair, flat screen tv and wood stove if we wanted to use it. Wood included.
Bedroom was small but king bed was plenty comfortable. It took a day to get used to the tempurpedic.
Nathalie offered to ski with us on day one to give us a tour of Vail and where to go to avoid the lines. Best of all she offered her locker(which had boot dryers) at the base of mountain so we could store our equipment. A huge plus that really made the vacation so much better. So nice not lugging skis etc.back and forth.
The house was a short walk to the bus route too.
Next time we go to Vail we will surely stay with her again. -

My husband and I have enjoyed a couple of fabulous weekends at LeRefuge. Nathalie is a wonderful hostess who can deliver amazing food, extraordinary spiritual guidance and a world class massage. We highly recommend her beautiful retreat experience!

As a busy mom, I needed some time away by myself, and when I saw this place online, it sounded perfect! I stayed for 3 nights in the condo, which was very cozy and homey. I thought I would explore the Vail area, but ended up being so comfortable that I hardly left at all! I also took advantage of several retreat services offered by Nathalie, including massages and yoga/meditation instruction. We even cooked a few meals together! I came back from my retreat rested, relaxed, and not at all like the stressed out, frazzled person I was before I left. :) Nathalie is a warm, caring person who I was very fortunate to meet and I am definitely planning to go back again.

Vraiment recommendable, l'appartement est situe au calme, a cote d'une petite riviere et sous les pins (visite quotidienne d un ecureuil curieux / l ours n' etant pas encore sorti de son hibernation), tout en etant a deux pas de la navette pour les remontees mecaniques.
En plus, il est tres bien equipe. Nathalie,la proprietaire, qui vit dans l appartement au-dessus, est aux petits soins sans etre intrusive.
On se sent depayse et a la maison en meme temps.Que des bonnes choses a dire!!!

We stayed with Nathalie on two different occasions this winter and enjoyed ourselves completely each time. Nathalie's apartment is a comfortable two bedroom single bath design with a full kitchen and a comfortable living area. It is perfect for a couple or a family that wants to be off the beaten path and have the opportunity to cook and enjoy relaxing together. When my wife and I walk in we actually feel like we are home because the apartment is so comfortable and Nathalie is so friendly and accomodating. In the winter you have a beautiful view of a snow covered stream right outside your door and in the summer a relaxing hammock awaits along the cool Gore Creek. It's only a 5 minute walk to catch the bus where you can ride the free shuttle anywhere you want to go in Vail. So park your car and enjoy a relaxing or invigorating, depending on your adventure level, stay in Vail...cause this place is perfect!
