Brief Description: Wooded Bliss One is a great base camp for exploring the Yellowstone area. It’s just 8 miles to the park entrance and is nestled in an aspen grove (offering stunning colors to fall visitors!) The home is surrounded by national forest

trails for hiking, m...ountain biking, and snowmobiling and it’s just a short drive to a quiet cove on Hebgen Lake. The home has an “upstairs downstairs” design, with the kitchen, dining and living areas on the upper level. For larger groups, the adjoining Wooded

Bliss Two on the back side of the duplex can also be rented.

Bedrooms and baths: The home has two bedrooms and two baths. The main level has one bedroom, with a king size bed and an attached bath with stall shower. The upper level has another bedroom, with a queen, double and a twin bed. There is a second bath

also with a stall shower.

Kitchen: The cheery kitchen is open to the dining area and living room beyond. It has a gas range and oven, microwave, dishwasher and crock pot as well a good selection of picnic and serving ware.

Dining area: The booth-style dining table seats six comfortably, eight in a pinch. There’s also plenty of seating for enjoying outdoor meals on the covered patio.

Living room: The cozy living room has a gas fireplace, a 42” flat screen HD TV with satellite service and VHS and DVD players. There’s also a great selection of family movies, games and books for guests to enjoy. One of the two couches folds out for

additional sleeping space.

Setting, acreage, and views: Wooded Bliss is in a woodsy vacation home neighborhood about 8 miles West of West Yellowstone, which is the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It sits on one half acre and enjoys incredible views of Lionhead Mountain

and other peaks along the Continental Divide. You’re likely to see elk, moose and maybe even a bear in this beautiful wild area!

Outdoor Amenities: Wooded Bliss One has an East-facing front porch for morning coffee. There’s a gas barbecue grill and a covered patio with a big picnic table for outdoor meals. The big lawn will please rambunctious kids.

Activities nearby: In winter you can snowmobile right from the house and get onto hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. If you prefer Nordic skiing, West Yellowstone’s Rendezvous Trails are a short drive away and you can explore Yellowstone

Park by snowcoach. In summer there’s hiking and mountain biking right out the door, fishing on blue ribbon streams, boating on Hebgen Lake and of course day trips into Yellowstone Park. There’s so much to do!

Closest town and airport: You are 8 miles from the town of West Yellowstone, 90 miles from Bozeman’s Gallatin Field Airport and 110 miles from Idaho Falls, Idaho.Read more

  Like the location, and the area. Check in was so easy we did not see any staff at all which was ok.
  
  The home it's self was very cute and comfortable. Nice towels. Some of the lights bulbs were out, also we were not given enough paper towels and toilet paper. Also garbage bags were too few.
  
  Loved the washer and dryer!!!
  
  Needs standing fans for hot weather and more air flow with the warm weather, uncomfortable up stairs with the kitchen and cooking area even with BBQ out side. Need a screen door down stairs for air flow. Too stuffy and hot.

  Blissful Time at Wooded Bliss One

  The booking service was professional and promptly answered questions. They sent an information packet about the area businesses and interests that was most helpful. Directions were concise and correct. We loved the home. It was well appointed and equipped with all of the necessities. The furniture and beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi kept us in touch with family members and friends. All the appliances were in good working order and everything was clean. We loved that the cabin was not in town. Peace and quiet. Unfortunately we spent most of our time at Yellowstone National Park and had only one evening to cook out and relax outside.

  Home was average. Nothing that made it special. Beds were average, showers are tiny--both my father and husband about didn't fit-both are 6 foot or under and 220lbs or less. Upstairs bathroom isn't convenient, mirror is in a weird place, and the slanted roof makes it awkward. We spent all day in the park and basically just slept there, so it worked for that.
