Kurland Villa is on Kurland Estate, near indigenous forest, and in a secluded and commanding location, close to the world renowned Kurland Hotel and Polo Club. The Villa is a large, recently built home designed in the Cape Dutch tradition, but in which all requirements of modern living are fully catered. The interior finishes are of the highest specifications and the Villa has been beautifully and elegantly appointed. The Villa is situated on private property adjoining the Estate, near indigenous forest, and in a secluded and commanding location.

Kurland Villa is a short drive from Plettenberg Bay, in the heart of the Garden Route, on Kurland Estate, home of the world famous, five star, Kurland Hotel and Polo Club. The area is called The Crags and there are several local activities such as The Elephant Sanctuary, Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Teniqua Wild Cat Sanctuary. It is a few minutes drive from Nature's Valley Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Horse riding, quadbiking, mountain-biking, polo, trail running and bass fishing are all available on the Estate. Dine at Katarina's Bistro at Kurland Hotel or in the Hotel restaurant

What a place, beautiful house, luxurious but still homely, lovely staff and great grounds. We rented the villa so the family, who live in separate countries, could spend some time together chilling and catching up and it worked beautifully.
The only issue was, with our every need catered for, it was so great at the villa we didn't ever feel the need to leave and go and explore the area - so perhaps missed out on some local attractions. The hire car sat on the drive the whole stay!
We are already discussing how soon we can go back. -

The photos really dont do justice to the spectacular setting of Kurland House. It is magical... and the house is wonderful too... comfortable and yet stylish... cozy but with a bit of glamour! And it was comfortable even in the cooler evenings of March as there are open fires everywhere! Absolutely heaven!
We were looked after by a staff of four who could not have been more attentive... They were all friendly, thoughtful, and the food was absolutely first rate!
A perfect holiday. We will definitely be back and we are recommending the house to all our friends. -

If you are looking for a relaxed and unforgettable holiday experience that is perfectly blended with a touch of nature, then look no further. Kurland Estate is a dream destination on the garden route and the Kurland Villa is something else. The sheer size and grand opulence of the Villa makes you want to stay there forever. What else could be more refreshing than having a personal chef at your disposal always ready and willing to spoil your taste buds!!
In Kurland, you are never far away from home as guests are treated like Kings and Queens. The friendly approach of the staff and their constant willingness to go the extra mile to make guests feel at home provides a unique experience that you will never get with so many of the 5 star facilities. There is nothing as nice and humbling than to be recognised in person everywhere you go to on the mighty estate. Right from the security personnel, butlers, grooms, receptionist all the way up to top management staff have unique skills of knowing and keeping an eye on guests. -

Beautiful villa, wonderful staff and chef, lovely grounds with pool, a few minutes from the hotel. Very well furnished with all mod coms! Superb location with views to the mountain, and only a 20 minute drive to a beach
