This was our second time ending one year and beginning another at Vacations by the Sea in Westport, WA. We LOVED it, yet again! Everyone is so welcoming, warm and friendly. The location of property is excellent – you can walk to the Westport Lighthouse, a beautiful icon with many wonderful trails, restaurants and the market are just a short jaunt away. This year we enjoyed the paved walkway steps away from the condo to Westhaven State Park. Being able to enjoy watching the waves while walking the dogs and then the surfers at the park was such a treat. It is an exceptional community and we look forward to more trips in 2013! Thank you Vacations by the Sea staff and property owners, you make it easy to have memorable vacations!

We liked the proximity to the beach and trails, the heated pool/hot tub and the quiet (we were at the back of the complex away from the beach. There were crumbs on the tables so it wasn't spotless and the dog fee is too high. Otherwise, we were pretty happy.

Thanks for staying and we're glad you enjoyed the quietness of this home. We're sorry we fell a little short on the housekeeping this visit and will do better next time! The $30 pet fee is for up to two pets for the duration of the visit and necessary so we can provide the extra time and cleaning needed to keep our condos in top condition for guests traveling with pets and those who are not. This property is centrally located to all that the Westport area has to offer.There is immediate and easy access to the beach.A paved walkway that goes all the way to town running parallel to the beach.The facility is spacious,clean and attractively furnished.

The condo was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would request would be some bars of facial & body soap for the bathroom. And we would have preferred a room with ocean view.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway and appreciated being able to do so with our dogs! We selected Vacations by the Sea because of the wonderful location, ammenities and that it is pet friendly. We look forward to returning!

This was a fabulous place to be for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Westport will always have a place in our hearts as Dan was the last Coast Guard lightkeeper at the Grays Harbor station in 1973. We will be back!!

The overall location and quality of the resort was great. I reserved my room online however, and was somewhat misled by the location of the room I was reserving. From the pics it looked like I had a ground floor unit on a corner. It ended up being a 2nd floor room with people on all sides. Also, I had the impression that all rooms had a view of the water. My room had a view of only the road coming into the resort. It would be nice if the online reservation site told exactly where each room was, and whether or not it had a view of the water. I probably would've paid more for a better room. Other than that it was a great room, and easy, friendly service.

Thank you for the high marks for this condo even though it appears it was not exactly what you were looking for. Our website has pictures of all our units along with views from the balconies and patios so guests know exactly what to expect before they arrive. There is also a map of our property on the website with each building and unit listed showing its relationship to the ocean to prevent any confusion. We're glad you had a great 4th of July weekend with us and got to enjoy the massive amounts of sunshine at the beach. We hope you can visit again soon!

I have stayed at this resort for a week a few months back before and was delighted. This condo was not good though. No cell coverage, no chairs or table on the outdoor deck, no view. I won't be back.

We're sorry you had some trouble with your cell phone reception. I use Verizon and have no problems but some carriers such as AT&T; and Sprint do occasionally have reception issues in some places. Each of our units has a phone for local calling and you can receive calls. We have placed a pair of Adirondack chairs on the deck for future guests to enjoy, thank you for that suggestion. Most people enjoy this condo for the spectacular lighthouse view and natural scenery of the adjacent state park but we do have other options if that is not what you desire. Our stay and accomodations by far exceeded our expectations. The condo was clean, spacious and luxurious. Very nicely decorated. Just walk outside and enjoy the National Park and vast beaches! We saw deer right outside our windows! The local towns people were very friendly and welcoming. Really, we can't wait to come back!

keep barking. The dogs our us to having 3 acre not condo.I didn't want my dogs to be bad. I would like to see leash holder by the main door if it is pet friendly condo. We had a blast so did my dogs. It is very pet friendly. My husband I were celebrating our 3 year.
