The unit is well located and clean but lacks any interesting or comfortable touches. The finishes are dated and builder grade at best and the furnishings could best be described as "garage sale".

Living in the Puget Sound, we're not far from the ocean but it's easy to not make it there often. Vacations by the Sea changed that for us, it's close enough to make a quick weekend trip well worth it. Our room was exactly as pictured, completely clean and fully stocked with everything you'd need in a kitchen or laundry closet. My girlfriend & i felt like we had a vacation & we only spent one night. The best part was that we could bring our dogs. My 13 yr old border collie doesn't do much these days but she couldn't get enough of the beach. She had a dog smile the whole trip. We will certainly be back.

We had a great time. The unit was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Our dog was welcomed and if she could, I know she'd say it was her favorite vacation. Running free on the beach is one of her passions.

IT WAS SO WONDERFUL. WE WILL REVISIT AGAIN AND AGAIN.
WE WERE WORRIED OUR PETS WOULD BARK, BUT THEY MUST HAVE SENSED OUR DELIGHT AND OUR DOGGIES WERE SO HAPPY THEY SLEPT FOR THE MOST-PART. THEY PERKED RIGHT UP WHEN WE LEFT OUR 'HOME' AND EMBARKED ON A QUICK TRIP TO CHECK OUT ALL THE AREA'S OFFERINGS.
THERE'S EVEN A GROCERY STORE LESS THAN A HALF-MILE AWAY!!!!!!!!!
THE CONDO HAS EVERYTHING INCLUDED , AND BELIEVE ME, I WAS STILL DISCOVERING GADGETS, SMALL APPLIANCES, INCLUDING A PET SPOT REMOVER!
THE BATHTUB WAS AS DEEP AS I'VE SEEN INCLUDING THE GENEROUS OFFER OF LUXURIOUS ROBES TO WEAR WHILE STAYING AS GUESTS. THEY OFFER DEEP-PILED TOWELS!

For the price was expecting cell service and a TV built in this century.
Other units we have rented had a cell extender, TVs that would allow you to connect your laptops, USB devices etc. They are relatively inexpensive these days and didn't expect to have to replace cables to get decent reception. At least there was a spare cable leading me to believe someone else had the problem. We're sorry you didn't find this condo to your liking. The cell phone reception is very good for most carriers here at the beach but there are some deadspots. We haven't had any complaints about the TV from past guests though it is an older model this is not High Def or a flat screen. Please let us know what is most important to you next time you make a reservation, such as a flat screen TV with HDMI or computer connection, and we'll do our best to recommend a condo that matches your needs. This condo is a favorite for many due to its direct beach access and welcoming of pets but we understand our guests have varied tastes and preferences.

Stayed sunday to saturday as we found place gets very busy on weekends. Got some much needed r&r.; We will be back next year for sure, as the dog friendly status is fairly unique in this caliber of property. VBTS, keep doing what you are doing, it works for us.

Stayed in 213 with my sister and my two boys (3 1/2 and 2). We loved that we could walk right out the door to the beach trail and watch the sunsets each evening. I slept in the bedroom with the boys and she slept on the fold-out (we placed the mattress directly on the floor to make it more supportive). The condo was clean, comfortable, invitinting and (most importantly) quiet. I did find that the rooms were still pretty bright at night, but I am sensitive that way. (I ended up hanging a blanket over the curtain in the bedroom to fix that.) Everything else was just perfect. Awesome place to stay with young children!

What an awesome place for dogs! Ours loved the short walk to the beach and the good 2.5mile walk to town was perfect! Check out the Brewery and Bowling alley if you tire of the beach!

We did enjoy our stay. Rooms were not up to prior stays; furniture uncomfortable and pans needed washing before use. Hide-a-bed not or couch terrible. On the good side; deer walk by every morning. We saw rainbows each morning also. We have stayed in other units, those units were better.

Sorry to hear your stay with us wasn't as great as previous visits. Each condo is individually owned so the furnishings and decor can vary between them. Also this is a 1st floor condo instead of a 2nd or 3rd floor condo which some guests could consider better. We will certainly look into our housekeeping procedures to make sure nothing is getting overlooked. A great experience--We had not been to Westport before, and fell in love with the location and the beach access. Loved the marina, the seafood . . . and this was a great place for our Westie!! She felt right at home.

We had a beautiful Mother's Day weekend at the beach. The Condo was well appointed, however sparsely furnished. It would have been nice to have a larger bed for instance, I believe that it is only a double. But overall, the place was lovely, very pet friendly, and convenient to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

I lucked out with the weather and got three days of warm sunshine, highly unusual for March. I have stayed in the same unit before and it is very nice. The only issue I had was with the neighbors in 214. I understand that they are living there. They had visitors in and out until about 4:00 AM on Monday morning. With the bedroom of 213 right by the front door of 214, I heard all the comings and goings. Then a little after 4:00 AM, they started hammering on something in the unit. I pounded on the wall and they went to the door to check for a visitor. I am sorry, but I certainly would not open the door at 4:00 AM without first asking who it is.... Something to ponder.. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.

Our brother and sister-in-law stayed here which made us come back. Very clean, quiet and best of all very close(within walking distance) to the ocean. But what we loved is we could bring our dog with us. The unit we stayed in was georgeous. We definately will be back.

condo living is hard on napping babies when your neighbor above have kids running around and your bedroom lamp makes a really loud noise,,, maybe some extra screws would help..

We had a great stay in Westport. My only issue was the sofa bed in the living room which desperately needs to be replaced. The staff was wonderful and brought us perfect adirondack chairs for the deck. We'll be back for sure.

We're glad you enjoyed your time at the beach! This condo can accomodate up to 4 people with two of those sleeping on the sofa sleeper but we don't really recommend it for adults as any sofa sleeper is inherently uncomfortable compared to a regular bed. Usually the sofa sleepers in each condo is used by younger kids and not adults. We do have many two bedroom units to choose from to ensure all the adults get to sleep on a real bed for a good nights sleep. Hope to see you again soon!

We've never stayed anywhere that was petfriendly that didn't either smell like a kennel or an ex-smoking room! Very clean, roomy condo, beautiful grounds and gorgeous view and sunsets! Easy access to beach too. Would definitely return

We have been coming here now for the last 5 or six years, we love it. Far enough away to relax and just be, very beautiful here and lots to do, casinos, antiquing, great restaurants, SOLITUDE, wide open beaches. Just a short drive and you can be in Seattle or the Olympic Peninsula wonderful drives. Not much else to say except see you real soon. Oh! almost forget they let you bring your dog too, they have selected rentals for those of us who travel with our four legged friends. I highly recommend VACATIONS by the SEA IT IS EASILY A FIVE STAR VACATION SPOT. Oh did I mention the pool, health club, BAR-B-QUE, even has a Library. All rentals are fully loaded just bring yourself and stop at the local grocers and you're ready for a much needed get away.

The wash stations are a very nice touch to wash the sand off of dogs coming back from the beach. The only complaint I have is the people who checked into 223 on Saturday were very noisy and had music playing and were talking loudly until early Sunday morning.

Loved staying here, kids loved the pool. We have stayed at a number of vacations homes along the PNW coast, and the facilities here are just really nice and well cared for. Had a great long holiday weekend.

Everything was great with the exception of upstairs vacationeers. Although, the excessive stereo/tv noise was in the evening until 10:00 p.m., it really broke up the beautiful peace and quiet of the experience having to hear loud stereo/tv noise until 10:00 pm. Especially considering the rates per night, I did not expect to hear neighbor stereo noise. Suggestion: stricter noise guidelines or increase noise buffers between units.

I'm glad you gave our condos such high marks but regret the stay wasn't as peaceful as possible. Noise problems are rare in the complex and can usually be resolved with a friendly introduction and request to turn down the TV or Stereo. Everyone comes to the Beach to have a good time and they usually just don't realize the sound might be loud because they live in a single family home. Quiet hours on the property are from 10pm until 8am and our staff is available to discuss excess noise with other parties if needed. Hope to see you again soon!
