Our family has been staying in Westport for over 10 years. My husband has stayed everywhere there is to stay! We've finally been lucky enough to find a house to accommodate our huge group of family and friends! Our little ones enjoyed the short walk to the beach (and all the toys!) and the backyard with grass, which, isn't too common in Westport ;) We loved the views, the deer, the space and all the fun kid friendly accommodations! We'll be staying here again!!

Thanks for your nice review. We particularly like when guests post their photos. If you didn't see this time hopefully you'll have the chance to see the bald eagles in front of the house on your next visit!

Left on 09/25/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We recently stayed here. Our family consists of nine children, three of whom of special needs. It's quite difficult to first find a home large enough to accomodate us and then second to find one that is comfortable as well as child friendly. This home was so much more. There was plenty of room - we could have even invited another family if we had wanted. There was a highchair there stored away, baby gates to use in order for safety, tons of beach toys, yard toys, puzzles, movies - you name it, as well as a fully stocked beautiful kitchen. The beach was just a short (tiny) walk over the crest. We enjoyed sunsets, shipping lights at night, beautiful mornings and the breeze through the windows. The one tiny drawback was the main bedroom has a bed that is super duper firm, some may love that, some may not - just know ahead of time, so if you love soft beds, pack some extra comfy ones to bring. Everything was incredible. The staff was enjoyable, and kind. The house was super clean, and comfy. The vacation was a memory maker for sure! We hope to do this again! This house equals amazing! Be sure to check out the little car guide to the cranberry fields that is in your folder. Really fun!

Spokane, WALovely getaway
Left on 05/24/2012 for a stay in November 2011
A group of my closest friends and I stayed at this wonderful home in November 2011 for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. It was a great place because it was large enough that we had our own space but also had places to gather together and hang out. The view of the beach was stunning and so inspirational. We walked down to the ocean every day and played on the beach. Because it was off season, we had it to ourselves most of the time. Although the weather was cold, it was still nice enough to walk down the shore for long periods of time collecting shells (we found so many). The town of Westport was a good little get away to check out. We shopped for memorabilia, ate at a few Oceanside restaurants and walked the warf. If you are a wine fan then I suggest you go to the Westport winery. Taste wine made by the sea. My last comment to make is Thank You so much to the people who take care of all the rental details for this home. You really were so helpful to us while we were booking this place to stay. We had never visited the area before. You helped us know what to do, found out clamming details (even purchased clamming guns for us to use had we gone clamming) and were so nice all throughout the experience. I would Definately stay here again and plan to do it in the Summer time. I bet it is even more amazing (if that is possible) in the sun. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Lake TappsDisappointed
Left on 02/16/2012 for a stay in September 2011
We rented this house for a group of older ladies who graduated together from aberdeen and love the beach; there were 10 of us sleeping. While we were trying to cook dinner, the gas oven went on the fritz -- I know that because the same code number had shown up on my electric stove before it finally died. So I finally had to call whoever to come fix it, as I had chicken to bake. When the gal walked in, she was upset because there were other people who had come to visit us for several hours; she was upset because "there were too many people in the house" and it was a "private house" and all the traffic (4+ more people who were fellow classmates and a relative of one of the original 10 who live in the area) would ruin the hardwood floors. We left the place spotless but I would never rent this house again; it was lovely and the location was perfect but no thanks -- she was rude, the oven did not get fixed--it finally started working but I had to cook it on high -- the stove needs to be replaced so that so it works consistently. Manager
Management responded to your call right away and was in the house in less then 5 minutes. As we recall and you also mentioned the oven was operating just fine the night before, and the code you think is the same you saw in your own stove in this particular (gas) model meant the door latch was broken. This made it hard to function properly as we warned you but still worked. We did not charge any extra fees for the large party or the damage caused (the oven had to be replaced) but other companies may. Private homes are not suitable for large groups, as we arrived we saw there were over 12 cars parked along the road and at least 25 people in the house that only accommodates 10 guests. I appreciate your feedback and strongly suggest in the future when you rent a vacation property you mention you will be having such gatherings. Our properties are not available or suitable for parties or reunions of any kind. Sincerely, Liz Coverdale.
