The property was in a great location convenience wise to get to restuarants, shopping and skiing. The booking was for ski-in-ski-out, but that was not the case, you had to walk about a block to get to the lifts. The kitchen was a little small and not stocked as well as many of condo's that we have stayed at, that could have been greatly improved with better cooking pans and utensils. Only a few dinner plates therefore had to run dishwasher almost daily. Having to pay for parking is a drawback. Visability on the slopes was evident on most days and marred our experience to explore the whole vast terrain that Whistler has available. Otherwise it was enjoyable and the food was great wherever we ate, that was a big plus and would like to come back to try again especially if there is sun.

Nice, well maintained room. Clean and well appointed. Nice location. But the sheer curtains / drapes do nothng to block out the light from the pool hot tub area. This led to poor sleep in both the bedroom and the murphy bed in the living room. Get some black out shades!

We booked this travel for 4 people as two persons + two guests. One of our friends had plans changed the day before we were going to travel to whistler, so I called intrawest to change my reservation. I was told that there was nothing to be done at their end, but the reservation could be changed by the hotel when i was going to check in.
When checking in, i was told that nothing could be done, but perhaps intrawest would be able to get us a refund for the extra guest charge. since i did not want to waste any time and incur roaming charges, i did not pursue the issue further.
when i was booking my stay, the rating for the rental was 4 mountains. however, i did not feel that it was a 4 star rental. the furniture was old, the stereo did not work. couldn't get fireplace to start, etc.
at some point, i asked for an extra towel from the hotel desk (glacier lodge) and i was told that towels could only be supplied by superior rentals which was another downer. Read more
Thank-you for your review. I apologize that you were given misinformation about your extra person fees. Unfortunately once full payment is taken and we are within a week of arrival (or at check-in, as in this case) we are unable to refund extra person charges. This should have been explained to you when making your reservation and it appears in our cancellation policy on your documentation.
This specific unit at Glacier Lodge is rated "4 Peak" by Tourism Whistler based on their yearly evaluation. It is by far one of the nicest in the building and definitely warrants the 4 peak rating.
I have personally visited the property today to specifically inspect the furniture, fireplace and stereo and all were in perfect working order. As mentioned during your check-in, we asked that if you had trouble working anything in the property, or if anything needed repairs to please contact us immediately. We do have a guest services team who could have responded and shown you how to work both the stereo and fireplace which likely would have made your stay more enjoyable. The company who occupy the front desk at Glacier Lodge do not manage this specific privately owned unit which is why they were unable to provide you with extra towels. This would have also appeared on your check-in form and again, with a quick phone call to our office from the unit phone, we would have had some extra towels delivered right away.
I hope that you still enjoyed your weekend in Whistler and hope to see you back sometime soon.

the location and the accomodations where very good, pool and hot tub area we enjoyed and thought it was excellent. the service was a little lack luster and no housekeeper or new towels was a downer. Read more
Thank-you for reviewing this property. I am glad you enjoyed your stay!
Because this is a privately owned condominium and not a hotel, we are unfortunately not able to provide mid-stay housekeeping during a 2 night stay. Our cleaners do however stock a considerable amount of extra towels in the bathroom cupboard and we are always available to drop off more if needed.
Thank-you again for the positive review and we hope to welcome you back sometime soon.

We were getting away for a few days and have not stayed in the upper village before. It was quiet and peaceful. The location was a short walk to everything we visit in the main village. To our surprise, the upper village hosted the farmers market and it was at the north side of the building. We parked and walked to everything.

Second year staying here and still happy. Location is great if you have younger children as it is a quieter area. Full kitchen which lets you eat on your own budget. Pool is just outside the door and is kept very clean. Management is friendly and helpful and we will definitely return!
Good place, we enjoyed our two night stay at the lodge. Place was clean and tidy, and we enjoyed the pool being right outside our door (however - you need to walk along some gravel) seems a little out of bounds area but it worked. We had our 16 month old daughter with us and she was comfortable, infant/toddler/little person friendly! All in all, a comfortable place to stay.

The unit was relatively well maintained, comfortable and relaxing. Location is perfect with minimal walking distance to the ski hills. It would be even better if the TV in the unit can be bigger for easier viewing.
