The Antias
Tampa, FloridaVery close to Whistler Village
Left on 02/21/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Thanks you Brad for letting us use your rental. We had a great time at your rental. The location was great. It was right across the street to the MarketPlace which is the entrance to the Whistler Village(shops, restaurants, and lifts). The rental place needs a little updating. The bedrooms seem small because of large furnitures. The reserved parking space was small also. However, I did like the layout of the rental(2 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms). If I plan to visit again, I would consider renting this condo.
Thanks,
The antias -

Our family of 4 have stayed at many places in Whistler - always at Whistler village north. Symphony is a great location close to all the amenities. Walk across the street to the grocery and liquor stores. 15 minute walk to the lift was easy. Awesome, clean experience whether you are going up the hill or not. Would definitely return.

Left on 01/10/2013 for a stay in December 2012
The condo is situated in a perfect spot. Far enough away from the revelers late at night, but literally, just across the street from the market and liquor store. Bus stop is just across the street. They run every 5 minutes and drop you at the ski lift. The condo itself could use just a little help. It isn't stocked very well with utensils, pots, pans, etc. However, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo. The place is great - tons of sleeping room, 3 full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and a gas fireplace. The best part is that its so close to everything. You can literally walk everywhere in town!

great little townhouse right opposite market square, and grocery store. ski bus stops right outside market square, so very convenient. (too far to walk to lifts!)
great value for money, in april. we would definately stay there again.
hot tub next to house, parking close by.
could do with some new cooking utensils, dishes, mugs, etc etc... and the duvet on the master bed, was 'lumpy'...probly washed and clumped...kinda wierd! water temp in the shower could be a little warmer. but we got such a great rate for this townhouse, we really cant complain.
sleeps 5, what a deal :) -

We had a wonderful time - we were there for the first weekend of telus fest. The condo was very clean, well laid out, and comfortable - kithen well supplied. We did use the common area hot tub. The condo is situated in Village North so it is close to everything but avoids the noise and conjestion of the village center. The owner was hands-on and helpful providing travel instructions and recommended retaurants, shopping and which mountain to ski under particular weather conditions. We would recommend this rental to our friends and family and would
return again. -

Left on 04/04/2012 for a stay in March 2012
Nice apartment to sleep 4 with ease, hot tub outside was great, although close to the road, only (slight) draw back.
Location is a 2 minute walk to the local IGa and several shops and rental equipment and bus stop for lifts is across the road, althought the walk to the lift and the main village center is 10 minutes in shoes, 15 in ski boots.
If your a family with a crawler or toddler you may want to bring a gate for the entrance steps, they lead off from the living space...Cot was provided which saved some packing! -

Four of my friends and I stayed at the Symphony from March 23-25. We got a great deal! Also, the unit was very clean and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The only negative was that the beds were a little uncomfortable. We woke up a bit soar...but going to bed at 4 am probably didn't help! :p Other than that Unit #10 was comfortable and relaxing. The shared hot tub was never too busy and provided us with some much needed relaxation mid-day. Check-in was a breeze and with 5 girls, having 3 bathrooms was great! Everything was in walking distance and we had tons of sun! The radiant heated tiles were also the perfect addition to this place. Great stay...will definitely recommend to friends and family.

This townhouse was great for me and my young son. We normally stay closer to the lifts, but found the free shuttle bus very convenient. The walk to the bus stop was a little further than I'd envisioned, but it really was not a huge deal. We enjoyed being not far from the IGa as well as Crepe Montagne - really enjoyed our fondue dinner and a second visit for a brunch crepe. Yum.
I think 4 adults might feel a little pressed for space, but likely comfortable enough for close friends :) The layout was great - 2 ensuites plus an extra half bath on the lower floor. It was really lovely to be on the second and third levels. We could leave the blinds open and enjoy the incredible snow (we visited during the early March snow dump). Nice hottub easily accessible from the townhouse. Great to have space on the entry level for skis/boots. Some updates would be nice, but no dealbreakers. Overall, enjoyed our stay and expect we'll return! -

When we arrived the house was really neat and tidy, great location, right by the grocery store which was super convenient for us.
The heated floor in the kitchen was wonderful as well as the fireplace, and it was nice to be able to get warmed up quickly after coming in off the slopes.
I would definitely stay here again/would recommend this place to others.

other little details, sufficient toilet paper and tissues should be provided. This is not expensive and reduce the frustration of guests. -

We had a wonderful stay in Symphony #10. The townhouse is great, very well equipped, and the location is very convenient for ski-in/ski-out with the nearby shuttle and for groceries shopping with the nearby marketplace. The parking spot is also very convenient. Overall, we are very satisfied and will stay again in Symphony # 10 in the future. Even if we did not meet the owner personally, we really appreciated all the info he gave us by email or the brochure left for us in the townhouse.

We loved this place.
Nice view of the Christmas lights on the trees in the street, the main living area is on the 2nd floor so you can leave the blinds ope, without people looking in.
Perfect location, away from the noise of the bars, but close enough to be able to walk to them. Hot tub at the complex was clean. I would definitely stay here again (I have stayed at 5 different places in Whistler and this has the best floor plan). -

VictoriaGreat stay in a cozy, clean, comfortable townhouse.
Left on 11/02/2011 for a stay in October 2011
Overall, the place was great. It is really well maintained, clean and comfortable. Excellent, convenient location in the heart of Whistler. We really liked the natural wood design and decor which made for a cozy retreat in the mountains.
It would be helpful to clarify on the check in instructions how to access the unit as it was a bit confusing finding the stairs, unit etc at first.
There were no ceiling lights in the bedrooms which was frustrating. I would recommend installing ceiling lights to upgrade the unit and experience.
It would be nice to have instructions on how to use the TV.
Overall, we had a great stay and we plan to stay here again in the future.

This was a return visit for us. We rented through allura, which is always convenient and offers clear directions and easy check-in. We came during some noisy and disruptive construction, but I imagine this couldn't have been anticipated when we reserved. When I noticed the lack of a coffeemaker, the owner quickly and politely provided one. The unit could have used a few more, and better quality, towels in the bathrooms.

Vancouver, BCCozy & good value in the shoulder season
Left on 09/28/2011 for a stay in September 2011
We found Symphony #10 to be a lovely 2-bedroom place in a mostly-quiet complex (it's near a main road, so some traffic noise is to be expected). With 4 adults, it felt a little cozy at times - at least we were all related :) Nice to have 2 bedrooms with en suites, you don't see that too often. We couldn't find a coffee maker in the kitchen, which was a bit of a bummer. All in all though, it was a great weekend and excellent value, particularly in the shoulder season. Thanks!

So perfect I considered not reviewing it for fear of it getting too popular next year. We are definitely coming back!
It's a *short* walk from the village, nice and quiet at night, and has more amenities than you could ever need. The two rooms are spacious, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the communal hottub is only 12 steps from the front door. We had a great time with our two boys (3 yrs and 8 months). -

Brad was very accommodating with regards to dates and our pet. He always answered our inquiries promptly. We had a visitor with us from England who enjoyed the Peak to Peak experience and walking by the river. We went to the Racquet Club for dinner but it wasn't that good - breakfast must be their specialty. The unit was very nice, albeit a bit noisy as it faces on the road. We were there on a weekend; it may be quieter during the week.

We found the place to be in a great location, close
to all the places we wanted to visit.
Because we are older, we found the stairs to be somewhat a problem. However, that really isn't your problem. We also found that a woman's touch with the cleaning would be helpful. It may be time that the bedding & accessories were changed. However, for the price we were happy with the accommodation & would probably rent that home again if it were available when we wanted it. Thank you for the experience. We love Whistler & plan to visit again this year. -

Left on 05/11/2011 for a stay in May 2011
Everything was as advertised. We liked having the bedrooms upstairs and the living/dining rooms and kitchen on the middle floor - it feels more homey. Also very nice that both bedrooms have ensuites. The kitchen was pretty well-stocked, and everything worked fine.
The place is close to the road, but it's not busy at night so it didn't bother us at all.
The hot tub in the complex is pretty big, and really close to the door of this unit.
Having the Marketplace (groceries, liquor store, etc.) within a 2 minute walk is really very convenient. Same goes for the shuttle to the gondola. If you come very late in the spring, as we did, be sure to check the bus schedule online since the shuttle runs much less frequently than during the winter.
All in all, no complaints. A great value. -
