  This condo was rented for a family get-a-way in mid-November. The rates were still off-season prices. Overall the place was just ok. Everyone enjoyed the view of the ski lifts/gondola but the actual accommodations were nothing special. If I had paid peak season prices, I would have been very upset and disappointed. Next time we visit Whistler, we will choose another location.
  The first upsetting point was that when the reservations were made, we were e-mailed very detailed instructions regarding how to access the condo upon arrival. The e-mailed instructions were very clear and precise reading where to park and the code to access the key etc. Unfortunately upon arrival, the key was accessed but it would not open any of the doors. This was extremely frustrating. It was discovered that the detailed e-mail instructions were incorrect and that the procedure for obtaining the correct key had changed significantly from the provided directions. Overall, it took us over an hour to access the condo.
  Upon accessing the condo, a few damaged items were discovered. A maintenance person was over immediately for a temporary fix. Overall the condo was clean. The condo was not well stocked for our arrival. Many basic items had to be purchased. The condo description mentioned a wood burning fireplace and that wood was to be provided. The wood provided consisted of one (1) compressed fire log. The owner was nice and called to check in the next day which was a wonderful gesture. However, the gesture did not reverse the many issues that were experienced. Lastly, we were not really bothered by the noise which should be expected if staying within the village but the local restaurants/bars that have outside seating will play music/sports events until at least 10pm at night. These noises can be readily heard from the condo and should be considered.
