Stanwood, WAAbsolutely Loved it!
Left on 01/25/2013 for a stay in January 2013
Perfect location and had everything we needed! Right by the slops and just a short walk to the village. Or you can even catch the free bus right outside the Marquise which definately came in handy due to the weather. The unit had everything we could ever need to make our stay comfortable! From the kitchen all the way to the bathroom!

VancouverMixed feelings with great potential
Left on 06/14/2012 for a stay in May 2012
I thought the whole place was well set up and I loved the location and the view out onto the courtyard and front door.
The kitchen and all the amenities in it are just fabulous and you can cook and see all that is happening.
Unfortunately there are 2 things that marred my stay - the first is totally subjective but honestly could you find a harder bed to put in the bedroom. It was like a slab of concrete.
Secondly, was being woken in the middle of the night by horseplay and young adult screams of joy from the pool on the opposite side of the complex. Things like this happen but where was security? We also had screaming outside between someone who was woken by smokers in the courtyard at 3 in the a.m and still no security - I found that disconcerting and made me feel insecure. -

New York, NYNice Stay and Great Value - Unit 512
Left on 03/28/2012 for a stay in March 2012
Recently stayed at the Marquise for 3 nites. Prior to arriving, we were given detailed instructions on what to do when we arrived at the condo building/unit. Parking was very convenient as it was connected to the building. The only trouble I have was locating the machine to purchase the parking ticket. Parking costs $15/day.
Our one bedroom/bath unit was very well maintained -clean and comfortable. The kitchen was small but was sufficient to allow us to make a meal. The basic necessities were provided (e.g. b/r and dish soap, b/r and kitchen towels, etc.)
Free shuttle bus service is conveniently located outside the builidng. If you are sking, you can easily get to the lift by sking/walking to Blackcomb base.
The only recommendation I have is to install internet/wifi in this unit. Overall, great exeperience and will definatley be back to stay at the Marquise for next ski season.

Port OrchardClean and Quiet
Left on 02/15/2012 for a stay in February 2012
The apartment was small but comfortable for three. The couch pulled out into a sleeper and was relatively comfortable. The bedroom had two twins pulled together to make one bed. If you spend too much time in the center, you can feel where the two come together. We didn't cook much while there, but there appeared to be plenty of pots, pans and silverware.
The property was quiet, we didn't see too many other people out and about. The parking garage was tight, but adequate, I drive a four door pickup that sits a little higher and was able to move around without too much trouble. A four door truck with an eight foot bed might have some problems. We didn't notice any parking in the front or on the street when we arrived, not sure you can park on the street during winter with snow removal equipment working.
The property is a short walk to the ski lifts, we found it easiest to exit through the garage and head down hill and across the street to the trail that heads towards the slopes. Once across the street you could put on your ski's and trek, there were some bare spots. We walked this trail to and from the lifts. There is a trail higher up on the mountain, look for the Marquise sign as you ski down.
The upper village and whistler aren't too far a walk (5-15ish). We would use the same trail that we used to get to the lifts to access the upper village. If you continue through the upper village you will find a path that takes you to Whistler Village. If visiting on a weekend, eat early or make a reservation!! We recommend 21 and La Rua. 21 requires reservations unless you arrive after 2130. We walked into La Rua at 1730 and had the place to ourselves. At 1900 it was filling up. Majority of your shopping, nightlife and restaurants are going to be in Whistler Village, there are a few things in the Upper Village, but not much. If you are the type that likes front desk help or staff on call, this isn't the place for you.

Winnipeg, MBGreat Value - 500 steps from Base of Blackcomb
Left on 02/15/2012 for a stay in February 2012
One of the best values for being literally within a few hundred steps of the base of Blackcomb Mountain. All arrangements were made online and there were no surprises whatsoever. Great for small groups or small families

Bellingham WAVery comfortable!
Left on 02/08/2012 for a stay in February 2012
Check in instructions were clear and concise. Unit was lovely and very clean. Wonderful shower and bed, which was welcome at the end of a long day.
Kitchen was spotless and well-equipped.
Bathroom had one bar of soap. Not an issue as we had brought our own.
Unit faces the courtyard. We were awakened both nights around 2-3 a.m. with other guests loudly returning when the bars closed (realize this is not something the owner has control over...).
