Description from the owner
Our condo is situated at the newly renovated area of Creekside, voted "best neighbourhood" by Whistlerites. It is a mere 2-3 minute walk to restaurants, pubs, internet cafe, Starbucks, bank and convenience/grocery store, AND the high speed gondola which offers the most comfortable, quickest way to the top of Whistler mountain. We're home to the 5k vertical drop run "Peak to Creek", & the 2010 Olympic Men & Women's Downhill & Super G. We have worked hard to equip our condo with all the comforts and aesthetic pleasures one would expect in a home. Additional Location Information
Our Condo is located in Whistler Creek. This was the original ski area at Whistler.
We are two minutes walk from the Creekside Gondola, ski rental, video rental, convenience store, beer/wine shop and other amenities.
There are some restaurants within a short walk (Southside Deli, Dustys, Hoz's pub/restaraunt, RimRock Cafe, Boston Pizza).
The main Whistler village is about 3km from our condo - a short drive, take the bus, or an inexpensive taxi ride. In the summer why not hike or bike into the village for lunch!
We have bike trails and parks and lakes within a few minutes walk, and all the main trails and parks are not more than a few minutes drive.

SeattleAs advertised!
Left on 03/31/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Great little place to stay, convenient walk to lifts and everything you need for skiing. The stairs are steep and can be dangerous if icy so as advertised not great for kids or people with physical difficulties. There is plenty of room for two and it would be fine with four if there were two couples who knew each other well.

Great service from booking online to arrival. Lovely, clean and homely condo in a very quiet area, but smaller than it looks in the photo's (sleeps 4 but glad there was only 2 of us) Excellent location for gondola, buses, supermarket and gym, etc. Enjoyed apres ski and happy hours at Dusty's Bar and the Creekside restaurant is a must for simple, well cooked pizza and salad. Only drag was making sure we had the right change for the bus $2.50 each way (the driver does not handle any cash) however we did discover after being there a couple of days that we could buy a sheet of tickets from the tourist information or supermarket in Whistler village which was very useful. We would be very happy to stay at the condo again.

San Antonio, TXOur Stay in Whistler - Jan 2013
Left on 02/01/2013 for a stay in January 2013
My husband and I visited Whistler for the first time January 2013. We found Carmen & Philip's condo on Trip advisor based on the great reviews. We were not disappointed! The place was immaculately clean and everything in order. Throughout our initial inquiry time, Carmen was very responsive and after we booked the place, she still promptly answered all of the emails. I love the condo. It's a short walk from the gondola base and the local favorite eatery, Dusty's. We rented a car and drove into the main village which was about a 5 minute drive. The condo was fabulous! Decor was great, bed was comfortable, everything we needed was there. We are definitely going back to Whistler and when we do we will book with Carmen & Philip again. We absolutely loved this place!

Left on 01/24/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Best place in Whistler is Creekside if you go skiing and not partying:-)
The condo is less than 5 min from the Creekside Gondola which makes it very convenient. The condo is stylish, modern and very well designed. Absolutely loved the real wood burning fireplace and its own ski locker on the porch. Kids loved all the
games/books/magazines provided. The size might be small for some (under 500 sq feet) but common for Whistler. The only think that you might want to really consider is a steep staircase leading to the condo (it tends to get snowy and slippery) and might be a bit unsafe for small kids and older adults. Didn't stop us for a second, though:-)
Thank you Carmen and Philip, we will be returning!! -

Vancouver, BCNice cozy condo at Whistler
Left on 10/18/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We stayed at this condo for a weekend in October and we really enjoyed staying at the condo. There are easy one step self check in and check out. Just unlock the door! From the first minute you can tell how the owners love and take care of this condo and there gusts. You have everything you need for a good vacation! Plus all the instructions for the parking, garbage removal, etc. are right on the fridge! The location is good although it is not in a village. It is exactly what it says in the owner's description. The gondola is just across the road. Moreover, if you going for spring, summer or fall season, there are nice lakes and trails around. This condo is a very good find for us for the price as well. We will recommend this condo to our friend, and will comeback again.

Left on 10/04/2012 for a stay in September 2012
The condo in Whistler was cosy and very comfortable with every single thing that you could need to make your stay perfect and trouble free. We enjoyed coming back here every late afternoon after a full day exploring all the wonderful sights around Whistler. It was very easy to self cater here with every appliance and utensil you could possibly need and walking distance to the shops. It was also very quiet at night. We would recommend the condo to anyone visiting the area.

Left on 09/06/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The accommodation is nice and clean. Everything was provided including collection of shampoo and soap.
Can't stress enough about the importance of parking permit. We haven't even unload our car before the tow truck driver showed up. If my wife didn't stay in our car while I was taking our luggage up to the condo, he would have towed our car because we have not had time to put the parking permit in the car yet. All though our stay, we keep seeing the tow truck circling the parking lot. It should be noted that if you need to drive to Whistler Village, you can park at Lot 4 and 5 all day long free but not in Lot 1, 2 or 3 until after 5PM. I don't know if that is the case in the winter months though. -

Photos pleasently did it justice, loved the decor. Functional kitchen and quaint living room. Very well organized for renting, with the codes and instructions etc.
Nice homey feel. The only thing that would have made it better for us would have been a big jet tub and no stairs. But that's just being greedy. Very good value. Great location for walking to the gondola. Will rent again!!

Left on 01/23/2012 for a stay in August 2011
My 3 children and I decided to go to Canada for vacation (we are from Hawaii) and came across the photos of the rental online. Based on the reviews and photos we knew we were going to stay here. There was absolutely nothing negative about our experience, the home was absolutely lovely the location perfect for skiing (though we didn't ski) and the area safe and friendly. The space was just enough for all of us to spend quality family time without bumping into each other or having to rent two rooms at a hotel. We have every intention of returning to Whistler to try our luck with skiing and there is no doubt that we will return to stay at Carmen and Philip's home away from home if they'll have us!
Aloha!

Left on 01/05/2012 for a stay in December 2011
My wife and I stayed here for three nights and were thoroughly impressed with the accommodations - clean, cozy and tastefully decorated with ski memorabilia - and it was a mere 2 minute walk away from the Creekside gondola (even with boots on!). Also, my wife forgot her iPad at the condo after we had checked out, and their cleaning lady was honest and kind enough to call the owner, who then called us, and were able to come pick it up after our last day skiing on the mountain. It's nice to know that there are people like that in this business. Highly recommended.

TorontoThe condo is cozy!
Left on 01/05/2012 for a stay in December 2011
My boyfriend and I (both late 20's) stayed here for 3 nights over NYE with another couple. It was an economical way to see Whistler and surrounding area during peak season. The village at Christmas time is amazing with a very impressive collection of Christmas lights. A cab ride to or from the village seemed to range from $15-20, there was also a bus which seemed to run frequently. The condo is up about 3 flights of stairs, and we had a lot of luggage so it was a mission. Check in was a breeze (we were able to arrive anytime and enter with a code) and the condo had all necessary amenities such as logs for the fire, tea, cooking spices and paper towels. It was quite cozy with 2 couples there, as my boyfriend and I had to sleep in the living room on a futon. I would expect that the condo would more comfortably accommodate 2 adults (vs. 4), but we knew what we were getting into when we booked it... and how much time do you really spend indoors in whistler anyway :)

I like dealing with the owners.
Therefore, guaranteed, excellent service.
The home itself was well stocked for the 3 of us. Max 4.
All the basics were there and more.
We chose this location because it was as close as we can get, that was affordable, to the Gondola.
With our 8yr old daughter, geared up, 5 mins max to walk to Gondola.
The least thing that I liked, was the stairs to get to the home. Yeah yeah yeah, only 2 flights but still. I had to do the up and downs. Lol... all good. -

Vancouver, BCLovely Unit!
Left on 10/12/2011 for a stay in October 2011
My husband and I wanted a quick out of Vancouver getaway and were more than pleased with the lovely unit we booked in Creekside. The location's drawback is that it is necessary to drive to Whistler Village (we were there for the restaurants, and the Farmers' Market/'Turkey' ski equipment sales, located in the North Village/Blackcomb area), but if you're there for skiing, the unit is very well located. The information/directions the owners provided was thorough and helpful - 'checking in' was as easy as climbing the stairs and entering the door lock code. The unit itself is small, but feels much larger because of the high ceilings and natural light from many windows. The decor is just lovely, from the carved mantelpiece to the climbing figures and ski tram lighting - the decorative touches throughout were charming. The unit is also very well supplied, with many kitchen utensils you would normally only find at home (pizza stone, a variety of corkscrews, different styles of wine glasses, etc., and much appreciated! Our only complaint in the comfort department was the double bed - my husband and I are both tall, and used to a queen-sized bed, so we found sleeping a little cramped. That said, we would gladly return and have already highly recommended this unit to friends and family.

Left on 03/04/2011 for a stay in September 2010
The information received online before checking in was accurate and informative and made it easy to locate the home and gain access to the unit. We loved the home because the decor was very ?Whistler?and cosy. The home was clean and very well kept, we did not encounter any maintenance issues at all. The home equipped with everything dishwasher, hair dryer and all cleaning equipment. Location was great as the shops were a stones throw away. The thing we liked the least was the steps we had to climb up to access the unit. We stayed there in between moving house so we had a lot of luggage which was really heavy to lug up all the stairs. However,it was great that you have two parking passes! Will stay again if in Whistler in the future.

Left on 02/23/2011 for a stay in January 2011
It was such a treat to find such an affordable place for 2 couples looking for a casual ski weekend in Whistler. While the place was small, it had everything we needed and it's location more than made up the difference.
We could easily walk to the slopes each morning, and the ammenities allowed for us to have quiet evenings in front of the fireplace with a home-cooked meal. It is definitely an ideal location for a small family or group of friends looking to enjoy the luxury of Whistler without breaking the bank for it. -

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was equipped with pretty much anything we needed or could think of. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pull-out/futon was actually the most comfortable futon we'd ever slept on!! Proximity to the lift was brilliant. The only tough bit were the very steep, icy, slippery stairs to navigate up and down. Overall, we loved it. Thank you. Oh and the price was super.
