We had 2 family groups staying for 4 days before xmas and found this to be the perfect size and location for all. Bus stop is right out the front where the free bus takes you into town.Townhouse is well stocked and has a cosy den area with a fireplace for cold nights.

This place was really well maintained and a nice place if you have a large party of people. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were comfortable for the most part. Tv was quite new with Hdmi input if you would like to bring your own devices to hook up.
The only problems we had were the following:
- the heater on the main floor didn't warm up the place. I would highly recommend asking the management for a portable heater.
- it isn't two queen sized beds but instead a king and a double bed
- there is one indoor parking and the other is covered outdoors. You can bring a total of 3 cars without additional charge (2 outdoor parking passes)

Service at the front desk was great! Awesome that there was a bunch of visitor spots in this complex; helped a lot as we had 3 vehicles in our party of 8. The home was really well kept and clean. Kitchen was nice and large to cook in and had all the plates, pots and pan necessary. Location was nice if you don't need to be super close to the village; it is a bit of a walk back and forth. No issues with this property, we wouldn't hesitate to come back!
Thank-you for taking the time to review this property.
Let me begin by explaining the security deposit. As this is a privately owned unit, we take a pre-authorization on a credit card to cover any damages, lost keys or parking passes. I'm sure you will find this is a very standard procedure when renting large vacation homes and this certainly would have been explained in detail on all the pre-arrival information you were sent.
I understand in your case (based on the giant banners your group decided to attach to the front of the property) that this was your stag party. Since we did not receive any noise complaints or have any reported damage after your group departed, the security deposit was released without any charges. I would like to believe that because of the deposit requiring your group to "walk on eggshells", we likely ensured that your group kept partying in the unit to a minimum, which therefore let other guests within the complex enjoy themselves and you and your friends remained mindful of your actions...exactly what the security deposit is designed to do.
This is a beautiful property and I'm sure you would agree it's a great place for a family getaway or ski vacation. As shown by the many other positive reviews it is definitely not deserving of the 1 star rating you provided. In future when organizing a party, I would suggest taking your concerns with regards to noise bylaws fines and security deposits to management directly.
nice stay overall

Place was good size and great location right next to Chateau Whistler. Interior could use a bit of updating - carpets, etc. A few issues when we arrived- broken faucet, headboard detached from wall, dirty rags left by cleaning staff, etc. Could use a bit more kitchen accessories. Although advertised as wood burning fireplace, were not allowed to burn wood, only fake logs. Garage convenient but very tight fit even for our smallish rental car. good free wifi. End unit so no neighbors on one side. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs. The cots shown in pics are in hallway at top of stairs, right outside master bedroom and en route to other bedrooms, so not much privacy. Master bedroom was roomy with very comfy king size bed.

Location was a short ski/walk from the base of Blackcomb, which was really nice. Pleanty of room for the 7 of us. The place had lots of bowls/plates/silverware, so the only thing we needed to buy while there was food. Would definitely stay again.

Great space with an extra large tub in the master bedroom. Futons were not comfortable.
Things that need improvement?
- coffee maker leaked
- garbage disposal leaked into the cabinet under the sink
- Mgmt co. should have given us both parking passes instead of just 1. I had to call and request information on parking our 2nd vehicle (in addition to the spot 1 in the garage). c'mon!
- would have been nice to have been supplied with at least 1 log for the fireplace.
- remote control for the television didn't work - therefore, there was no way to change the channel. New battery needed?
Overall, it was a nice place and we enjoyed our stay. Read more

The home was OK, but has a few problems. The dishwasher didn't really get the dishes clean. The kitchen sink faucet was on constant spray mode (couldn't change to flow).
The unit claims to have a loft, but it's really just a hallway...not an appropriate place for adult children to stay. Too much money for what you get.
