Snowbird101 vacation rental is a luxury 1200 sq ft (112 sq m) penthouse townhouse in Whistler with space for up to 6 people. Walk or ski 300 yds to the Blackcomb lifts or to Village. Take the free shuttle bus every 8 min. Use our free high speed internet for a work and play visit. Vaulted cedar ceilings and high windows open to Whistler views. Snowbird 101 is walking distance to the ski slopes and to Whistler village. A free shuttle bus to Whistler village and to the ski lift is available all year. The shuttle bus stops in front of our development and goes every 8 minutes. We are located in a quiet residential area that is close to restaurants and to Whistler attactions.

Found Snowbird 101 on the internet the location is great away from the hussle and bussle but close enough to jump on the free bus which comes every 10 minutes out the front.It takes 3 minutes to the top of the hill quick ski down blackcomb to the chairlift and the ski fileds of whistler await. Accomodation was excellent there were 5 of us fully selk contained Breakfasts and lunches all from unit Dinners at a different restaurant every night, Really enjoyed our first white xmas and whistler experience Tom was great very accomodateing had all basic necessities for us , coffee teas heating was on so you will definaely enjoy. We had the spa outside each noight with 3 nights having snow dropping on us just a beautiful memory.

This condo was absolutely lovely, convenient, underground parking, nice views. It was well equipped in the kitchen and everything was easy from checking in to catching the shuttle over to the ski area. The entry area was perfectly set up for ski storage.

Wanted an improvement over the Chateau for a 5 day meeting. What a find! Tom, the owner, called us the day we arrived to do a quality control check and make sure everything was ok! Prior to this he'd sent us an email with everything we would need to know about the condo, restaurant recommendations, the nearest hospital - you name it, it was included! And when we couldn't get the wireless internet to work, he was gracious in taking our call and walking us through the connection. Wow, talk about service.
We were thrilled with the condo. The decorating is warm, elegant, understated, and really just beautiful and fit the setting. The living area was well thought out with the fireplace between the living room and dining room - even though it was august it was cool so we used it every night. There is a nice deck off the living rooom high in the trees which would be great in warmer weather. There's also one off the master bedroom as well, smaller, but still cool! We had several colleagues over one evening and easily accomodated everyone. The kitchen is a plus for entertaining (and had all the equipment we needed) and was great when we went nuts with the fresh food at the market! We found the Cd's in the armoire - great selection and had us dancing.
Because it's on 2nd floor (you enter at ground level where there's plenty of space for skiis and boots, then up the condo steps) you feel a little like you're in a upscale treehouse with nice privacy.
The bedrooms are adequate, slightly small; the second bedroom perfect for families. Prefer a pillowtop bed, but slept great without it! The living area was so nice, bright and room to spread out in, the size of the bedrooms were not an issue and I was glad they kept the spaciousness in the living areas.
We've rented other condos at Whistler, as well as the Chateau. Snowbird 101 was far and away the best, with the most exceptional service we received anywhere. We'll stay here again.

Beautiful space. Not your typical utilitarian ski-place. Elegant and lovely, while also comfortable. Tom also provides excellent advice about travel, places to eat, etc. Great kitchen to cook in, great areas for relaxing, and several nice, small porches. So much nicer than anywhere we have stayed in Whistler/Blackcomb (and this was our sixth trip there).

The owner was very nice and accommodating for our stay. It's located at the end of a row of other homes so you do get nice privacy. Apt. itself was very clean, spacious and had a washer and dryer which was very nice. Only peeve was that it is kind of hard to find. Maybe because it was snowing pretty hard and night time, but spent a good 30 mins driving/walking around the area trying to find the location. Other than that everything was great!
