All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Maplebeck is a lovely cottage situated on the banks of the river Esk a mile from Whitby centre.Fully kitted out with everything you could need and great attention to detail, nice touches include masses of information on the area and binuculars. Excellent position for wildlife watching,every day we watched Herons, Cormorants & Dippers feeding on the river. Twice a solitary seal came floating past which was a pleasant suprise. Ducks, Geese and Herring Gulls came calling daily for their feed

Beautiful property - well equipped, balcony looked out over the river, good for watching wildlife.
Walked over the viaduct into the hustle and bustle of Whitby and good to return to our quiet picturesque holiday village. -

Everything that we required was provivded Maplebeck is a fantastic place to stay, the location is out of this world, its right next to the river Esk and the ducks and geese come calling on the patio every morning to be fed.
Its only a short walk over the viaduct into Whitby maybe 2 miles or so, but a very pleasant walk. -

very nice accomodation,overlooking the river esk with its ever changing tidal ebb and flow.well situated for touring the north york moors.excellent standard of property,main bed a little soft for those needing good back support!overall very good.a litte marred by the temporary generator whilst repairs carried to mains cable,hopefully finished by now.

My partner and I have holidayed in Whitby for the last five years, but this was our fist holiday rental experience, and what an experience!
The cottage is located in a stunning and peaceful location, at the foot of the amazing viaduct, on the edge of the River Esk. This immaculate home, (and that's how it felt, like home), with excellent facilties, held a host of pleasantries; beautiful decor, stunning views, the most comfortable bed, (best sleep ever!), and not least the bottle of wine chilling in the fridge, and the inviting cookies beside the kettle! Not to mention the thoughtfully prepared, and extremely useful, albums filled with information about the local area, and it's attractions.
The walk along the viaduct, reveals stunning views and would also be highly recommended.
For a totally relaxing, peaceful, stressfree holiday, in an utterly breathtaking location, I could not recommend Maplebeck cottage enough.
