This mid mews cottage overlooks the river Esk in Whitby and can sleep five people in two bedrooms. White Goose Cottage is a modern, mid mews cottage in an elevated position above the River Esk on the outskirts of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. Boasting one double bedroom with a sofa bed and one single room (with a pull out bed) as well as a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep up to five people. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Excellent service and precise information given to find property and where keys to property was located. Property was clean and information was given on how to use each appliance, also information on what their was to see and do in surrounding areas.

This is a lovely cottage, it is very well equipt and is in a beautiful location.
We were able on most days to walk into Whitby over the old disused railway line which took us around 20 to 30 minutes. The cottage is right on the river Esk and has friendly ducks who come to see you at the door for feeding, and there is of course a Goose who also comes right up to you.
We are looking to book this cottage again this year and would not hesitate to reccommend it to others.
We would reccommend Mr Chips for you supper in Whitby really good, and the pie and mash cafe opposite -

A very comfortable and superbly equipped cottage that also offered excellent value for money. It was a delight to have a cottage in such a quiet and picturesque location with parking yet within walking distance of the centre of Whitby.
