A beautiful cottage with a fantastic garden. Great BBQ facilities and ideal for children with a big garden and lots of interesting walks. We loved seeing the steam train go past each day and walking over the viaduct.
But remember to bring your own towels - we felt this wasn't clear in the advertisement as we had never been to a cottage that didn't supply towels before.
We would definiately recommend this cottage and hope to be back ourselves next year.

What a lovely place Whitby is and to cap it all you couldn't get better with this house. It has everything you need to make your stay very comfortable indeed. The surrounding countryside is peaceful and picturesque with lovely walks. It's just a short walk into Whitby. Lots of places to visit, see and do.

We know Whitby very well and have gone there for well over 30 years. So we were delighted to discover Cinder Warren after all these years. This gable end property had plenty of space for children to play outdoors as can be seen from the photograph and important for us was the ample parking for two cars, which can be an expensive problem at in-town locations plus we could make a short walk into Whitby over the adjacent viaduct which also provides great views of the River Esk and North Yorkshire Moors and leave the cars behind. We will definitely go to Cinder Warren again. The accommodation was very good for the six of us.
